So did my two budgies, which I had as a young girl, one of them sat under the little bell that hung in their cage. But that was at a time no one thought to take photos, alas! .🦜
I might want to see a little bit of documentation on this before I give up flying altogether. Well, at least without wax holding my feathers together….

Used in 1990 on the announcement card for his show “Photos Of Decatur County, Georgia”.
Anyway, I don’t like the way those boxes are leaning.
I can’t tell whether they’re full of fresh tomatoes or cans.
Those boxes would hold about 50 pounds each of fresh tomatoes… so they’re not usually stacked that high, cos the bottom ones get squished… but cases of cans would more likely have a brand name on them.
Either wouldn’t be fun to be under when they fall… though cans would be more dangerous.
My guess would be empties ready for use. At the left a section has fallen, yet several remain stacked above them. I suspect they are light enough that one, only partially held on two edges, is still able to hold itself and three more on it.
My take on both photos…
Same place, just from the opposite side. Take note of the “designs” at the bottom corners of both phots, they are identical save for the fact that the photo is taken from the other side of the bridge.
No, it’ll be a standard build shopping trolley (Cart). The supermarkets want to get their money’s worth, so the bearings will be up to spec. Those things travel hundreds of miles in their lifetime, and must be easy to push.
The front wheels caster. One pot hole can send a wheel spinning freely, until it catches the road again (at 60mph) at whatever alignment it happens to be in. Seems a front wheel would buckle after misaligning.
Hmm, right hand drive, white rear numberplates. Could be Australia, but the size of the numberplates look wrong… So did a search on the company name on the back of the tanker, and it turns out to be South Africa.
This puzzle creator… seems to be the same one from the last few…

So this time he has sort of hidden something, literally….
by…
pushing the fourth star about ⅔ of the way behind another snow globe.
Look at the bottom right penguin…. Go to the tip of his beak, then up two globes, slightly leftward, to one with a reindeer.
Behind the reindeer globe. You’ll see part of a star one.

.
Isn’t she the belle of the ball…
Yes, she is!
Looks to me as if she is getting out of the “rain.”
Such a flirtatious expression.
Must be a caique. They have the cutest faces of the parrots.
I’ve seenseverl parrot like birds that like to wear bells like a cap.
Cockateels, Budgies, things like that.
My sister had a bell loving cockateel.
So did my two budgies, which I had as a young girl, one of them sat under the little bell that hung in their cage. But that was at a time no one thought to take photos, alas! .🦜

I think we’ve been here before…
Yes…. Fakeland.
I might want to see a little bit of documentation on this before I give up flying altogether. Well, at least without wax holding my feathers together….
Keep out of the sun, Icarus…
Um… thanks.
I think I’ll walk.
That’s a lot of Catsup!

Yeah, probably.
Not as dramatic or as funny, in silent movie tradition, but probably more true.
If she were Buster Keaton, it would be cans.
They would be for fresh tomatoes. Boxes for canned goods don’t have the ventilation in them.
Aah … You see the dots as holes?
You’re probably right.
Besides, the boxes aren’t labelled with a brand name, and they’re too tall to be cases of cans.
Behind them are some taller boxes or crates, that don’t seem to say anything (hard to tell) but have carrying holes.
Might be molded plastic lugs, for picking, though back then, most lugs were wooden, and modern ones are much more shallow.
I think you’re beginning to worry me, Nighthawks…
When the toons start to take over.
Located at the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Art Museum, China.
There’s another one in Farrara, Italy.
I thought it was this one at first until I double checked.
My take on both photos…

Could be, in that case the balustrades are different for either side.
the text that came with this said that this doggie had been away from his god for a whole month and this was the reunion
His god??
Does somebody have delusions of grandeur?
Okay, all right… maybe to a dog.
I just can’t help wondering whether that’s the word that was meant.
If the picture were of a cat, I’d know it wasn’t.
Most of the boys are easy, the girls not so much…
Isn’t that always the boys’ complaint?
I did realize I’d left myself open for that…
So how did they get up there in the first place?
PS: Nope!
I’ll bet you would get arrested for a stunt like today.
Maybe “High on Coke” wasn’t the right slogan.
LOL 😀
…
I understand Japan, experts in miniaturization, took the record from Mill End’s park.

Kinda mean that they did it on purpose.
shark!!!
…oh, okay…
I doubt very much if those cheep grocery cart wheels could handle those speeds very long.
They’ll have ball-race bearings, so they’ll be OK, plus they’re being watercooled 😉
So it would be a purpose-built or modified cart, not just something stolen on a whim, from the grocery store?
Is this a thing?
Still stupidly dangerous…. especially if the tanker driver doesn’t know he’s there.
No, it’ll be a standard build shopping trolley (Cart). The supermarkets want to get their money’s worth, so the bearings will be up to spec. Those things travel hundreds of miles in their lifetime, and must be easy to push.

Here in the UK both the front and rear wheels caster on ours, I assumed that was universal on them.
I never said he completely thought this through…..
Ours are all casters too.
But as for their strength and durability…
I see too many lame carts… Stuck or even missing wheels, ones that don’t roll straight, or wobble…
to think latching onto a truck is safe.
Even in this video, the front wheels look like they’re at the wrong angle.
Hmm, right hand drive, white rear numberplates. Could be Australia, but the size of the numberplates look wrong… So did a search on the company name on the back of the tanker, and it turns out to be South Africa.
At least the cow was smart enough to get off this time!

Does three and a headache count?
I’m with you; 3 and a headache it is!
I got three, maybe four. Depending on how sneaky they are being.
Not working for me. Blue box is all i get.
Is there a name for the little blue box with the question mark in it? Seems to me it should have a name.
Image placeholder?
They’re different on different platforms, so you can’t give a literal description.
Absolutely. Each one of those penguins is a star in the movie of their life.
Today I see #4.

Cool pic, but could somebody please explain the rear part of that dog?
Uh oh… Are we looking at more &#$@! AI?

You really gotta want those Guest likes!
It never does.. Most sites don’t.
Posting something already shows us you like it.
It’s not like Sandra Boynton will stop by and think you didn’t.
A thumbs up says thanks for posting this, or I like it too.
And liking something you wrote yourself wouldn’t be right… That’s why they don’t let you.
It’s too easy to like your own posts on GoatComics — I keep liking my own posts when I look to see who else liked me…
It’s amazing what goes through my mind at o’dark thirty at night.
LOL!
Sage advice 🙂
American actress, model, and fashion designer, plus the mother of actor Mark Harmon. Photographed here in 1942.
For the observant, the centre stand the bike (An Indian Chief) is sitting on has been airbrushed out.
Not the best job of retouching, I noticed the light “ghost stand” as well.
At least it’s not AI!
Who?
She was famous in her day… Quite a beauty.
Mark Harmon had lead roles in a lot of TV shows… I remember him in St. Elsewhere, but a bunch of cop shows too. I think NCIS, which I’ve never seen.
I remember he was, hopefully still is, married to Pam Dawber… Mindy to Robin Williams’ Mork.
His father was a famous football player, as well.
Still alive, still married to Pam.
Mark Harmon was himself the famous football player. He was the starting QB for either USC or UCLA. I forget which. But he never tried to play in the NFL.
I only knew that about his dad, Tom Harmon.
Never heard of her, and I don’t know the name of the dog either.
And you posted it anyway!
That’s an ironically lively video for “This Old House”.
