I didn’t see the entirety of that video….I thought they’d show the final version at the end.
But since they didn’t, I posted it right after their ‘rehersal’
Dion Warwick.
what a voice.
It took me three (count ’em, three) revisits before I got them all.
On the bright side, I finally woke up to an easier way of doing these things which I will use in the future.
One of my favourite Chuck Berry tunes.
“My Ding-a-ling” being another (If you’ve never heard it, it was pushing the limits of airplay in 1972, and definitely would have been banned in Boston in the ’50s).
Here’s the original 1952 recording.
I’m late this morning because I had to log in again! I tell them to remember me, but they don’t ~ story of my life!
Anyways, I got 5. Do I win a prize??? This was tough!…..for me.
From yesterday.
That magpie video was really cute! !
Her treatment of the bird reminded me of my mother and Pretty-boy, our parakeet that Mother took in as a pet when he was a featherless chick.
She somehow managed to keep him alive, feeding him by hand and going so far as to put little stones in his mouth so they’d sit in his crop when he got to solid food.
For a long while after he could fly, and find his own food outside, she could call him and if he was in hearing range he’d fly right to her hand.

I think I’ve found them all, and in pretty good time, too. But I’ll wait to be amped up about it until I’ve checked Susan Sunshine’s solution.
Golly, I had forgotten all about that recipe page!! And, there’s some really good recipes there!!!
Of course, they’re not all mine. There’s a lot from Happy, Saucy, GROG and a few other really familiar names. Hey, everybody…..check it out using the link that Alexi posted in his comment.
And, thanks, Alexi, for coming across it and asking about it! Much appreciated!
Lots of good recipes, but some are for a big crowd. Hard to downsize for two or three when you have lots of different meats or fish. Still, it provides the general idea and you improvise from there.
Vincent Van Gogh
Bad, mad, sad Vincent.
Sad story.
A very gritty self portrait.

Beautiful song, beautiful compilation of images.
Beautiful!

Charlie Podrebarac loves to cartoon Van Gogh, and his readers like to Gogh with the flogh.
And yes, I know it’s not really pronounced “go” but that’s the only way it works.
Say a Little Prayer – Such a perfectionist team effort to get it right. I doubt that any modern pop vocalist makes that kind of effort.

what a voice.
And speaking of effort, I wonder how much time the Glen Miller orchestra put into rehearsals for that number.
Ah, mi Cleomigos y Cleomigas…and you People of the Puzzle…
And also speaking of effort… are you working away at it?
A fun one tonight, IMHO…. though I see no comments yet about it.
I’m sure you’re all having a good time with it.
…
I amuse myself by also finding some differences between the puzzle panels and the actual, official logo.
Hang on a sec…. I’ll post the solution.
‘Ear you Gogh….
(I’d say I’m sorry for that line but I’m not.. and I’ll do more if you don’t behave.)
Do your best… and if you did behave you can

raspberry cake
Do you still refer TO THIS sometimes when cooking?
You haven’t put anything there for years.
Wow! That was a lot of typing!

I’m happy you like that I drew it to your attention.
You’re welcome; and thank you for including my mother’s cole slaw recipe in the list.

Looks like the start of some great guacamole.
But I wish they weren’t making it in a blender.
