But what about the Bassets?

They’re so much better… Well, cuter, anyway…

But I can never find their videos on YouTube.

Hey StelBel, remind us to beat you later. 😉 We enjoy ALL of your artwork! We will be patient. A true artist doesn’t work by the clock, but in time with the muse.

I have all of them on LP (vinyl, including “Rarities”), listen to the youtube-channel mentioned above regularly, have the books “(The) Beatles Complete”; both the Piano Vocal/Easy Organ and the Guitar edition, own “Help!” on DVD, have watched all their movies multiple times since early childhood, know all the tunes and most of the lyrics by heart,…
Bring it on!!!
“Yelp!”, “Yellow Cub Merry in”,…

More above and below this excerpt….

“The title refers to the heroine Gayane, who unfortunately is married to Giko, a hopeless drunk, arsonist, and smuggler of public money. Gayane conspires with a Soviet guard to foil her husband’s schemes, is later stabbed by Giko, but survives, and in the end remarries. Although the ballet was only moderately successful, three suites featuring ethnic dances from the second and last act have been alluring and popular, especially the Sabre Dance. Ultimately, Gayane’s Adagio (in the first suite) became well known and popularized through Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey, produced in 1968.”

…which comes from    HERE

Because of The Music Man, I was looking into Meridith Wilson, and found (among other songs he wrote) that he also wrote this one for President Kennedy’s fitness program. I wonder how many of you have used it (or still can)?

Sorry, Arfside, I’d never heard it before today, and I only got 1 miunte 29 seconds in and wished I hadn’t heard that much.
Definitely not one of his better compositions.

Well, you’re from Canada, so I’m not surprised you haven’t heard it. It was written for JFK, so you don’t have the same attachment to it. Were you even able to get in 1 minute and 29 seconds of the exercise before you quit? 😉

C’mon! If it’s chocolate, it’s not mundane. The freezer pops ~ yes.

Good assortment of videos to go with all the ‘napping’ going on.

I a little confused, didn’t they spell it “Bassats” to distinguish them from the dogs? Or was it “Bass-ets” to emphasize their tight bass sound?
