There are conflicts that I didn’t have time to even try to resolve, so I won’t cite the source here.
I’ve resolved the conflicting U.R.L.s to my satisfaction, so I’m accepting the source.
Here is the LINK The artwork of Arthur Sarnoff is varied, and runs from pin-up girls, landscape, portrait to dogs playing pool and poker, and that’s not all.
Yes….please, start using names! It’d be so much easier. Thanks to Susan, I am no longer confused. Using avatars doesn’t work, especially when some people like to change their avatars from time to time. Please take this suggestion.
(also, should some newcomers show up, it would be simpler for them to identify to whom you’re addressing a comment! After over a year here, I still am not sure of everybody’s avatar. Your system, although it works for you, does not work for everybody. Thanks, Alexi!)
From Monday’s episode 10.
I had to look up Pitt Falls, Lily, Woof, Bluebell, and Oliver.
I gather from that that there are some “Ten Cats” readers here.
While researching, I came across this ARTICLE from “The Vancouver Sun” dated September 3, 2021 about Graham Harrop.
It’s listed as a 7 minute read.
There are two photographs of Graham Harrop in his studio, some quotes from him, and a small selection of his political cartoons for the Sun.
If you can find this book, I recommend it as a really fun read. Some of the science is stretched to make the story work, but the author’s research for the book is real.
There are various purported titles for this poem, but I think they’re more for guidance than a title Kipling gave it.
It’s at the end of “How the Camel got his Hump” in Kipling’s “Just So Stories”
Kipling on the Cameelious hump.
The Camel’s hump is an ugly lump
Which well you may see at the Zoo;
But uglier yet is the hump we get
From having too little to do.
Kiddies and grown-ups too-oo-oo,
If we haven’t enough to do-oo-oo,
We get the hump—
Cameelious hump—
The hump that is black and blue!
We climb out of bed with a frouzly head,
And a snarly-yarly voice.
We shiver and scowl and we grunt and we growl
At our bath and our boots and our toys;
And there ought to be a corner for me
(And I know’ there is one for you)
When we get the hump—
Cameelious hump—
The hump that is black and blue!
The cure for this ill is not to sit still,
Or frowst with a book by the fire;
But to take a large hoe and a shovel also,
And dig till you gently perspire;
And then you will find that the sun and the wind,
And the Djinn of the Garden too,
Have lifted the hump—
The horrible hump—
The hump that is black and blue!
I get it as well as you-oo-oo
If I haven’t enough to do-oo-oo!
We all get hump—
Cameelious hump—
Kiddies and grown-ups too!

oops! I’ve been duped…
I just laughed out loud…but now that the morning is here—and I’m looking at
it in a different light…I think I’ll pull it

Since Felix doesn’t look like Felix, I’m going to say Skidoo wasn’t drawn well either.
Skidoo:
“I totally drink your milkshake.”
QTπ is doing a lot of eye rolling lately. 😀
The little one (or at least younger one) is still dumb (in her eyes), but now large enough to do damage?
Damage? Yeah. He’s a chewer.
The expressions are funny…
But…I hate to say… I hope the left-hand dog’s bared teeth aren’t a sign of distress…
It kinda looks like someone’s hand might be activating a shock collar under his throat.
Kasey
Looks like Kasey is on the case.
I caught this at roll-over, so it’s still —‘S birthday.
Alexi…
I don’t automatically make the connection in my mind with avatars , so I didn’t notice till now… and maybe no one else did either.
I do believe that’s Saucy’s dog, but it’s Perkycat’s birthday.
It’s fine with me if you want to delete and repost, and it deletes this too.
(BTW, You might want to consider using names instead).
I’ve corrected my blunder. It’s 07:56 E.D.T.

why not, xxoo
Rita
I never have problems connecting your avatar.
Thank you, Alexi. I saw that last night and wondered who shared my birthday besides ……shhh (trump).

Ive seen the article. Good reed.
Yes, there are a few of us here. Miss you on Go Comix.
I’ve read it every day since it was on Sherpa, but rarely comment there, because it’s very involving, and I’m already so involved here.
I wonder what celebrity will stick their head out the windows.
Good question.
I just knew BatBasset would figure out this mystery!
Soooo… it’s true!
We already knew that the Evil White Cat was evil…but now we know that Dr.Felix Ratbreth is equally evil.
And when two equivalent evils join forces…. what extremes of evil might ensue? Eeeek.
…
Dr. Ratbreth tried to shrink Marmaduke?? Egregious enough!
And now, this evil duo has shrunk the arches!
Will all the arches of the world fall prey to their evil plan?
OMG… a world of fallen arches!
…
Holy Dr. Scholls, BatBasset!
You and Sparrow might have to be the world’s sole source of arch support!
I wouldn’t want to be in your shoes!
…
But don’t worry, world… I won’t be.
BatBasset and Sparrow are on the job!
They can do it… they have vertical climbing skills.
I’m afraid my paltry climbing skills are all horizontal.
….
So I’ll wait here, watching with the rest of you….
while this extraordinary duo of caped canines saves the day!
Got a good laugh with your fallen arches, etc. Thanks
I’m sure Marmaduke’s family wouldn’t mind if he got shrunk a bit ~ save a lot on kibble.😆😆😆😆😆😆

The attachment is the Pinterest description of the cake by the baker claiming it as one of her bakery’s creations.
Wow! Gorgeous.
looks like these guys have been deprived of water
Good morning, bat friends! This cliffhanging is scary.
National Megalodon Day! Shark steaks for everyone! (((((HuGz!)))))
