The correct term is horned toad or horned frog because of their round shape. I caught a number of them as a small kid when I lived in Imperial Beach, which is south of San Diego.
My brothers property in Nevada was covered up with the things.
Yep. I’ve found all the harmless stuff. But I still can’t find the snake from two days ago.

What confuses people about problems like this…..
Lots of different values will work as long as the first two totals remain correct.
If the pear is 14, the apple is 3, and the lemon is 21. 14+21=35
If the pear is 100, the apple is 89, and the lemon is -65.
100 + -65 =35.
The pear and the lemon will still add up to 35.
Carlin would be so proud.

This is a marvelous piece by Stel Bel. Have we seen it previously?
There are no new ones from Stel, so chances are that any we get have been previously posted.
But the signature “StelBel” usually, but not absolutely always, means one of the earliest ones, before she started signing them “Girouard.”
It doesn’t prove that it hasn’t been rerun much more recently….
But it does mean there’s a possibility that it hasn’t been seen since Sherpa days.
I just changed carriers yesterday. with my old carrier and phone I couldn’t post. I can now.
What carrier do you have now?
I used to be a newspaper carrier. years later I was a mail carrier. and sometimes even on the same street—and that was mind-blowing
I used to keep a small toy airplane in my pocket. Did that make me an aircraft carrier? 🙂

Add up line one and two to get rid of the apple.
The result is 35.
