Damn! I see that field of trees and flowers and think, “What has he hidden in there now!!!”

Looks great, though. There’s probably money hidden along a stone wall under a rock that looks out of place.

No, but there’s 432 Black Eyed Susans in the foreground.

If this were one of Nighthawk’s puzzles, I’d be the one that’s different.

My eyes are blue.

Bluish-gray with some amber here.
“Schwarzäugige Susanne” is the German name for those flowers – same name.

I was going to go with the obvious, then I found this pleasing bit of silliness.

Good thing Cleo was not in that band! She is much better as a soloist.

Here’s some info about Paul Bunyan’s voice. This guy did an incredible number of things that I never knew about:

Interesting. I had long wondered who sang the Grinch theme song and who did the voice for Tony the Tiger. The Grinch TV special was the beneficiary of great casting between his singing and Boris Karloff’s speaking.

I prepare Feuerzangenbowle differently.
No cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise. Never Stroh Rum (that’s an abomination!). For 2 liters of non-hangovery red wine I use 2 oranges and 1 lemon (all organic), peel and juice and 1 rum-soaked sugar cone (250 grams).

Some quick facts about Alaska:

1 It is almost 2 1/2 times the size of Texas.
2 It is the northernmost, easternmost, and westernmost state of the United States
3 The nations of France or Spain could be put in Texas with room left over.
4 The nations of France and Spain could be put in Alaska with room left over.
5 The northernmost latitude of Hawaii and the southernmost latitude of Alaska are only about 1,580 statute miles apart (Los Angeles to the Canadian Border on Interstate 5 is listed as 1,381.29 miles).

Semisopochnoi Island, Alaska

At 179°46′ East (+179.7667) (in the Eastern Hemisphere), the easternmost tip of Semisopochnoi is, by longitude, the easternmost land location in the United States and North America. Semisopochnoi sits only 14 minutes (0.2333 degrees) or 9.7 miles (15.6 km) west of the 180th meridian

Don’t let it get away from you, Cleo, you won’t be able to sniff it out. Snarky little nose, anyways.
