1) misunderstood
2) a walk in the park
3) one in a million (again)
4) looking back
5) you’re under arrest
6) stand by me
7) walking on ice (again there is no indication of “thin”)
8) I see you understand
9) belong
I got pretty much the same. I think that 7 can be “thin” ice based on the font’s height vs width, though it’s not that well done. Number 8 I have a problem with. The word “stand” is upright without any good reason. I read it as “stand up by me” which makes no sense; I settled for “Stand by me”, but I’m not satisfied with it.
I saw the “be” as long… but sure, I guess it’s also flat.
Hard to tell what’s wanted… and even if we know the maker’s intent, it doesn’t mean that it was expressed very well, or that something else doesn’t work.
People, this is Simon, Theodore, and Alvin as you have probably never heard them (I hadn’t).
Remember that “Wake Up Little Susie” had been banned in Boston in 1957; can you imagine what they’d do if they got this a year later instead of “The Christmas Song”?
The lyrics have been slightly changed because, I suspect, someone thought they were funny.
They have not been toned down any though.
Alexi, I’m confused about why you’re posting the portrait and still photo (of Cate Blanchett in the movie) of Elizabeth I. Are you referring to the movie poster that I did a few years back or something more recent? Any reason for posting that today? Am I missing something?
Took the littles to the static airshow at our local tiny airport. Had a Grumman TBF and 3 WWII trainers plus a bunch of other aircraft related and aircraft.
My kind of breakfast…. Can’t eat that much, but it sounds soooooo good.
A lot for you guys? Cleo, when was the last time you brought Claude his slippers? Or told him NOT to push that button? And then it’s Clara you gave the list to.
…….oh wait……maybe SHE enjoyed the fruits of your “help”.

Here are my answers.

I solved this, and I was about to post my list, but I checked it against yours, and they’re identical.
It’s a very straightforward puzzle, and we’ve done several of the same words before.
I wasn’t too impressed with No. 8, because it’s not really a common phrase… But IMHO there’s no doubt about it being correct.
So I’ll just say I agree with all your answers.
I couldn’t figure out #8. The others were a lot easier. Thanks for your answers.
I got all the same as you except I didn’t get the last one. Wasn’t sure what that was.

Song titles are an option on that puzzle site.
“Walking on Ice” and “Stand by me” are quite possible.
My guess, too. And got them all.
I think that works too.
Hard to tell what’s wanted… and even if we know the maker’s intent, it doesn’t mean that it was expressed very well, or that something else doesn’t work.
I like that !
That makes sense.
I’ll be back later, but i think i got them all.
“Pedro’s not here.”
“Dave’s not here, man…”
I think you have, as had I, forgotten this scene in the movie.
I looked for it under “Dave’s not here.”

Hard to even imagine ALL the wonderful things Cleo does for Clara and Claude.
Really hard. In fact, impossible.
…
I do think we can agree that the Clifford household wouldn’t be the same without her.
…
Breakfast sounds great.
I do wonderful things…. I’m sure I do…. Give me a few minutes. I’ll think of some.
Well, just tell me what time to come to breakfast. I’ll bring a list by then. There must be something.
Or… um….I could always give you an IOU.
“Low Rider” isn’t just the theme song for “Up in Smoke”… though it was great for that.
The title on that video makes it sound like Cheech and Chong sang it…. but it’s by WAR.
…
When I hear it nowadays, I think first of George Lopez…
He uses it for a theme song for his stand-up, and it was the theme for his TV show as well.
These are a lot closer, I think.
oh,go ahead and take it up; that’s what it’s for
Not everyone owns a giant, hi-res monitor, Nighthawks.
Huge pictures can make the navigation difficult on low-res screens like my laptop…. hard to see who is replying to what, etc.
I’m not saying NEVER do it… but I personally appreciate Alexi’s consideration with those two.
…
I have to scroll 2+ screens to cover the entire length of your chocolate ice cream…
Nice for seeing surface detail… but the only way to view the image whole is to open it in another window, where it shrinks to fit.
…
The determining factor is resolution… screen size in pixels, not inches…..so I can see the complete image on my phone, even though it’s smaller.
But this site worked better for me before you increased the comment image size.
….
So it’s rather nice to have a choice in whether or not to scroll past those two big pictures in a row every time I check for new comments.
Who knows, maybe I’m the only one to say “Thanks, Alexi”… but maybe not.
And right now I’m using an iPad while my laptop is being checked out. And it is really small!
I reduced the size of the comments images to 457 pixels wide…..
I like nice round numbers

I need more info!!
I wondered too, but I thought it must be something only you would know.
Maybe something to do with the movie costume being based on the portrait?
Oh! Oh!
I remember!
Yes… It’s about Elizabasset I.
You showed her, IIRC, holding a golden biscuit.
You said you’d seen a human version, and then could never find it again, where she’s holding an orb.
Alexi said he’d look for it.
Wow, that was ages ago.
dark chocolate ice cream
I just learned about a whole new art style and the reason behind it today. 🙂
Thanks, Rotifer.

The only thing that’s missing is the glass full of scotch with a twist. But, otherwise, huh!….pretty accurate!
LOL
Good morning, Cleophans and Alexi!
Took the littles to the static airshow at our local tiny airport. Had a Grumman TBF and 3 WWII trainers plus a bunch of other aircraft related and aircraft.
My kind of breakfast…. Can’t eat that much, but it sounds soooooo good.
Y’all stay kewl. (((((HuGz!)))))
Our kids take their little ones to a small airport in San Diego. They call it the ‘Airplane Zoo’.
you can get your own original TBF for a cool 495K
Good morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan.

WOW….?
..
I want to join Cleo for breakfast. No kibble for me either! I seriously want to know what Cleo does for them that deserves that kind of breakfast.
We could ALL eat from Cleo’s list and still have leftovers.
It sounds like the the buffet breakfast at one of our Cleo & Co. birthday parties!
