Except this is the Padre’s rustic dresser…. not the Clifford’s modern furniture.
The thing is… almost any cartoonist has a particular style… so there’s a certain similarity.
It amuses me with characters… when people say a certain person in a cartoon … especially a new character… looks like an existing one… and ooooh …. they must be related…
when what they actually resemble is the particular way that artist draws characters.
I remember when that caused a month of speculation awhile back on “Arlo and Janis.”
I think that’s exactly what StelBel was referring to – she feared that I’ve seen that puzzle elsewhere before today.
At least the rug seems to have been returned…
You need to try your clairvoyance over on Skin Horse. Shaeon is crazy, I can never predict (or half the time even understand) what’s going on. The craziness is why it’s one of my favorites, I can predict most of the other strips I read.
Here’s a picture activated link to the same “Skin Horse” as above.
br> I’m not sure if I finally figured the method out or if nighthawks changed the site programming — I’m just glad it works.
I’m Just experimenting here. I don’t mean any harm by it.
Just wandering around the page, I went to “oils”. Wow, I did not know nighthawks is a serious artist! I can see the Hopper influence, but these are all new! You must visit this page!
The Cliffords spending their holidays in the (in)famous Padre residence.
No pandemic in their comic universe.
Just a really relaxed doggie… so sweet… so innocent… Ay Caramba!!!!
heard this on the radio in the early 1960s
‘The- Bet’ –Milt Kobayashi
…and it reminds me of Spitzweg. A lot.
I see the dresser/night stand has turned up just like Tigressy predicted…

Right, cos we were looking at that same room when Perro visited the padre… not knowing it would show up in today’s puzzle.
Accidental but sounds suspicious!
I have my clairvoyant moments (really, saved a hedgehog that way once) – but that’s “just” empathy most times. I know my authors.

…or the lottery; never had any luck there…
That’s a big problem for me on Skin Horse, which has so many characters coming and going all the time.

Only six by bedtime — I would have hoped for better.
G’night all!
What I want to know… besides why this puzzle was so hard for me…
is what Cleo and Claude are doing in el Padre’s chambers.
Are they up to no good? Nah… not our Claude and Cleo!
Are they investigating the priest, for those of us who have questions about him??
Dreaming?
And can THEY find the differences? I mean… they’re standing right there.
Meanwhile… I’ll be posting the solution a bit later.
Search well, Cleomigos.
I think we’re back in modern times visiting a preserved historic site.
I think we’ve all got inside Cleo’s dream, where she is acting out her fantasy of being Perro.
(Or Nighthawks’ dream imagining he’s Cleo fantasizing about being Perro…)
I see that Perro has left his calling card.
Looks can be deceiving. Cleo looks so peaceful when she’s asleep.

OK; got 9.
I wasn’t quite sure about the last one, but it’s legit.
I prefer Nina…
Well, Cleomigos y Cleomigas…
I was kind of uh… resting my eyes… um… you know… but here it is… the solution you’ve been awaiting…
Do your best… I know this was a harder one than some…
and then check with my nine differences, just for you:
But I’m STILL puzzled about how Claude and Cleo got in there!
Right! Got them all.

WOW, this one was difficult, at least for me. A couple of real subtle ones there; on and off it took me quite a while to get to the ninth one.
Love the hidden solution box that Tigressy and others came up with; works well.
Here’s what’s really suspicious-looking to me:
That picture on the wall (yuck!), but that may be just due to being very careful, and
The Mark of Perro.
I’m a bit too relaxed for challenging puzzles; only 7 today.
You try to preserve history and keep things nice, then, as soon as you turn your back, someone P’s on the wall. GROSS!
Good morning, C&C Phans! Q Date: 365.98796.54 One year since I started self-isolating. One more month to fully vaccinated and people from a distance.
There’s a bunch of National days today, but one IHMO deserves the attention:
NATIONAL K9 VETERANS DAY

Claude seems to be getting a hint of Cleo’s extracurricular activities. No wonder she’s so tired.
Y’all be safe out there. (((((HUGS)))))
I can’t believe I only got 6 this morning! Argh! And it looked so easy, too. I guess I have to brush up on my puzzle skills.
I like how Claude and Cleo are visiting the Perro set. Fun.
I love the ‘click to edit’ button! This whole website is great!
only got eight, don’t feel bad, one is nie n’ear’ impossible to see!
