No, Dennis is not wrong, I saw that morel shaped mushroom as well.
I agree that it is not the answer the puzzle maker was wanting you to find, but it is there.

From yesterday.
I watched that Pete Beard video you put up yesterday afternoon. Once again, I kept back clicking and stopping to read some of what was in the various illustrations. The contents of the spoiler box might be of interest to — as they are four of “The New Yorker” magazine’s art deco magazine covers 3 from the 1920s and 1 from 1932.
On Monday, November 11, 1918 The Long Beach, California “The Daily Telegram” was 10 pages long, and cost 2¢. Tuesday’s tide and sunrise/sunset reports:
High: 4:39 a.m. 4:03 p.m.
Low: 10:31 a.m. 10:32 p.m.
Sunrise: 6:37 a.m. Sunset 4:52 p.m.
Another good find, thanks.
Now I know WordPress programming can be stepped around, I keep looking for ways to do it.
I suspect from the use of the smallest punctuation you want pictures like the above to speak for themselves; it follows then that having to put even those kind of marks in has to be annoying to you at least. I went playing.
Since you’re just attaching the picture, I’ve discovered that using the edit menu and clicking on the Bold or Italic or Underline or Strikethrough symbols fulfills the programming requirements. Just click on one of them once, attach your picture, and you’re able to post without that annoying mark.
If you’re going to post more than one picture, use a different symbol or the programming thinks you’re duplicating a comment.
Edited in at 00:19 hrs. E.S.T. March 13 as a P.S. :
If you want to get rid of the marks above, you can.
1: Open the “gear-box” edit menu
2: Erase the marks
3: Click once on one of the four symbols I’ve listed
4: Click Save
I never need any text or punctuation to post a picture…
The one, occasional, exception
being inside spoiler tags with no text.
Every now and then, the tag code touches the picture link, and it gets messed up, so just to be safe, I put the image on its own line, with two dots before and after.
I’ve run into that too, but the easiest way I’ve found is:
From this bracket spoiler title=” “] ←
Hit enter four times, post the image U.R.L. and then hit enter four more times. As long as the end of the spoiler box bracket set [/spoiler] is clear, everything posts fine.
Why 4 times? It’s WordPress is the only explanation I can give you.
Most times it’s sufficient to copy and paste the picture or link into the comments box. Sometimes, you have to adjust the file name a little (e.g. by adding “.jpg” or something similar).
Any comment is necessary only if you upload a file from your own computer.

Long ago, when I learned to sew, tiny shops, or fabric counters inside department stores, had the same material year after year, and the same few customers.
In the 70’s, there was a boom… Making your own clothes was very popular, and new stores opened everywhere.
Suddenly you could buy glittery material, fake fur, all kinds of fashionable cloth.
Then it faded… But at times, it has come back, depending on whether young people are sewing..
I’ve watched our local fabric stores add art supplies, beads and fake flowers to stay in business in years when it seems like nobody sews.
Beverly Fabrics is now Beverly Crafts, with one small section for sewing.
…
There’s only one wonderful fabric store, anywhere in my area, that I’d be sad to see closed, even though I haven been there in many years…
It’s in San Francisco, and called Britex… and you can buy any amazing fabric you’re looking for there… cotton, silk, lace, designer stuff, imported from everywhere… Several floors of buttons, trim, ribbon…
If you’ve got the money, cos it sure isn’t cheap.
….
Plus, there was one store in my town, that closed at least 30 years ago, that had no fabric bolts, just cut lengths from clothing manufacturers, all different, and very cheap.
I used to sew a lot, for myself and for my store, so I bought quite a bit.
But I still have some… so I’m not allowed to shop for fabric ever again. 😃
Otherwise, the rest of the stores are pretty much the same.
We had a Hancock Fabrics which went out of business and is now a liquor store – there has to be a joke there somewhere. We still have a Joann’s close by.
Twice, I’ve seen Plods’s post here today, and twice again, it’s disappeared. Do you suppose he’s removed it himself or do we have a glitch? Or, I guess the third option is that I’ve lost it completely!

Can you find the mushroom between the jellyfish?
Edited in at 21:44 E.S.T.:
Yes, I can. It didn’t take long either.
Piece of cake!
No, you’re supposed to find a piece of mushroom.
But it’s easy.
Oh… wait…
They have rooms for doing that kind of stuff?
I guess that’s what “Get a room!” means.
BTW, found it.
Looks like a morel.
Not if you mean these guys:
It looks like a regular mushroom.
No, Dennis is not wrong, I saw that morel shaped mushroom as well.

You have two red squares… One is the solution I’d posted hours before…
I can’t see anything morel shaped in the other.
Threes a perfectly round thing in it, with a green stem, and a hazy bit of seaweed or some such behind it.
Who knows…we all see these things differently, and Dennis hasn’t said where he found whatever he saw.
I thought he meant one of those squiggly cone shapes that are scattered about.
I finally found it! Don’t know how I missed it at first.
In case somebody does want to see a solution…
Found it immediately.
That reminds me: I’ve got some to use up.

Our Joann’s … actually there are two near me… are maybe about 2/3 craft store…
And I think even the sewing third has as much other stuff… like trim, patterns, shoulder pads and sewing machine accessories… as cloth.
They always have a sale going on outside… last time I walked by, there were bins of baskets, and coir liners for hanging planters.
Same with ours. Our Walmart has a fabric department, too. I always forget about that.
You got that right, Cleo!
We should put that pork chop thing to the test.
Bad call, Clara – where to get the fabric for fixing that hole from?
Not that I disagree with her rationale, but I wonder how Cleo would describe her relationship with Claude?
The solution to Clara’s dilemma is obvious. Dennis’s Fine Fabrics and Upholstery Repair.
Thank you for the plug! We mostly sell the polka dots and checks that are popular on Ballard Street, but I am sure we can meet Clara’s needs!
