Things to do that need to be done.
We had a dream of building on our100 acres near Arches NP in Utah. Still love the land, but we bought in Montana already built. We camped on this beautiful land for years.
I did a quick Google Map search. The streets still exist, but the addresses do not.
From the streets’ layout, that was a large operation Sears, Roebuck and Co. Incorporated had going.
Careful Claude, Clara, and Cleo; you might get these on your face and not in your stomach where they belong. .

Hot Deviled Eggs (In two parts.)
PART ONE: STANDARD SAUCE FOR CREAMED FOODS
4 tbsps. butter
4 tbsps Five Roses Enriched Flour
3/4 to 1 tsp. salt
Few grains of pepper
1 to 2 tsps. onion juice (optional)
2 cups sweet milk (whole milk 3.25% milk fat)
Melt butter in a small, smooth saucepan; add flour and stir over moderate heat for 3 minutes after mixture begins to bubble. Add salt and pepper and milk, very gradually. Stir constantly over direct heat until mixture is smooth and thick. Care must be taken that butter and flour mixture does not brown. Note: Creamed dishes made from this amount of sauce will serve 6.
Note from me:
It doesn’t matter if the butter and flour mixture do brown a bit, just don’t burn it. If it starts to brown, it’s done; start adding milk. PART TWO: HOT DEVILLED EGGS
Make Standard Sauce. Hard cook 4 to 6 eggs (1 for each person to be served). Cut eggs in halves, lengthwise, remove yolks and mash with a fork. Mix yolks with 1/4 cup finely-chopped lean ham, a dash of Worcestershire Sauce, salt, pepper and a little cream to make a soft consistency. Pack mixture in egg whites. Place to halves together and arrange in a buttered shallow baking dish. Cover with sauce, then with buttered crumbs. Bake at 400°F. until mixture is heated through and the crumbs are brown. Serve on squares of crisp buttered toast.
Notes from me: I interpret “Place halves together…” to be side by side,
and the cream as whipping cream (35% milk fat)

Sadly, I doubt there’s been much improvement. What kind of idiot takes a plastic deck chair (meant for house decks only) on a boat? And then doesn’t secure it so it falls overboard?
The twin hulled vessel we see briefly in the video is MBARI’s research vessel the “Western Flyer.” It is either already retired, or will be shortly (I found contradictory information) and its replacement comes on stream in 2023.

It is generally accepted that a normally sighted human eye can perceive a dot which is 0.000,100 metres in diameter; the conditions, contrast etc. were not specified.

times to perceive a Francium atom, and

times to perceive a Helium atom.

I’ve just read Tigressy’s post at GC and apparently my post here yesterday is “Awaiting approval”. I saw that explanation (?) when I logged in today. The only thing I can think of was the Round Headed kid video from youtube… I don’t think I #!%@ing swore or anything.
You are trying to directly post over 3 U.R.L.s in your comment. WordPress programming does not allow for that. You have to edit the fourth-and-up ones in after the fact to get them to post properly.
If you want to delete it go to your comment list, you’ll find the “Awaiting for approval” comment still in the list, just click the garbage can, and it’s gone.

Devil’s Food Cake is a favorite of mine, too! But with a ganache frosting. mmmmmmmmmm. Shhhhhh…..don’t tell Cleo.
