When I saw them, they had just become popular from Puff the Magic Dragon… which they’ve always insisted has no drug references.
I’m not sure i believe that…. But at that time I wouldn’t have gotten them anyway. I’d never heard of such things.
They were still not so popular that they had moved beyond appearing on small college campuses.
….
The concert I saw, and the album I bought, were mostly traditional folk music.
They probably did Puff, and also a couple of Dylan songs that were radical for the time… but my memory of them was more about 500 Miles and Lemon Tree.
And yes, Where Have All the Flowers Gone, which is an antiwar song.
Just what works for leprechaun bait?
Lucky Charms cereal? Awfully sweet.
Looks like Cleo put candy in there….
But I’ve known a few rather leprechaun-ish types, and I think they’d have been more likely to go for beer.
Or maybe that’s what corned beef and cabbage are for? What pot-bellied grumpy little guy is going to resist free corned beef and cabbage, especially with potatoes?
….
I think real leprechauns are greedy little things, as well… Might also be inclined to grab at gold.
But that’s what you want from them, right?
Maybe you use a little bit of gold, and when they’re good and trapped, make them give you all the gold in their pockets!
The good thing is that skunks and squirrels and such probably won’t be attracted to beer, or even gold. Mailmen…. that’s another story. 😁

Gosh and begorrah! Our Cleo and Company is updated. Unlike GoComics which hasn’t done one darn update. Have to admit it’s the quickest I’ve ever gotten through that site.
Does this bode well for the “New GoComics” debuting on April 1? I think not.
GoComics, with their ‘exciting ‘improvements to their site always, and I mean ALWAYS
means they are preparing to screw over their subscribers yet again.
.
I know that look. Belly rubbing time!
Pretty please with sugar on it?
..
Even I know that one…
Same here!
I know the one on the left. The one on the right and the location/movie I’ve no clue.
The fellow on the right is
RW had a brilliant mind. He is missed.
,
Been wanting to say that a lot lately.
“Stop! Look! and Hasten!”
It’s available online, but I can’t find one that posts properly.
The Vimeo one is the best one I found.
I’m thinking that there is either a train or a big truck heading in his direction
.
That’s the opposite of a problem!
Unless you ordered a pepperoni pizza of course..
,,
Eglise Saint-Severin. Paris

Wow!
,.
,.,
Especially top middle, see that one around all the time.
No.
Nonono…
I agree.
little pig.
little pig, let me in
Vik, South, Iceland
Looks calm now. Where’s the lava?
in the stores, right next to Ivory
can you find the pig?

Got it!
Same here.
yup
Once again…. Nothing is hidden. Just look till you find the pig.
If you decide you need the solution…
From the lower left corner… Count up four faces… There he is, first face in the fourth row from the bottom. Or the 11th row from the top, if you must.
so , you’re saying these are too easy, right?
well, I’ll have to find some tough ones
I’ll be in trouble!
These are quite hard enough for bedtime, thanks…
Yes.
Don’t talk with your mouth full!
You’re acting like a silly goose.
If she catches a skunk she might change her mind.
I dunno… I’ve known a couple of dogs, mine included, who were delighted to suddenly stink like a skunk.
One of the first groups, in fact I think THE first, I ever saw live.
I was in awe.
Mine was “The Pair Extraordinaire”.
And I’ve never heard of them!
Which is kind of amazing, I suppose.
What a great voice.
My wife (and I) took her girl scout troop to them (late 1990s). They got a little lesson in resisting authority.
I’m not sure what you mean…
I saw them on a teenage date, in the campus theater of a small college, in the early 1960s.
Everybody was dressed up and polite.
i felt ever so grown up.
They sing songs of revolution, they promoted using your own brain and standing up for what is right.
Ok…

I suppose I have to revise my memory😁.

Moral of the story, Make sure there is no nurse named Violet on your cruise.

Considering how much they’ve just raised the subscription price, I’d say they’ve started already.
I know.
From today’s London “Daily Mail” (bicarbonate of soda is more commonly known as baking soda on this side of the ocean).
