Perro rides! Perro rides!

The game is afoot, mis queridos y queridas!

Is nuestro Perro too cocky?

Could it possibly be as easy as he expects?

Or (gasp!) are Grog and Liverlips right?

Sooo many questions!
Is the Padre behaving himself with that money?

I hope he’s not in cahoots with the evil Slurez to trap poor Perro, and enrich the church coffers… or … ah!… line his own pockets.

It’s the stuff of B movies, isn’t it?.
In this story, though.. I don’t think so.

And ..while I’m asking questions… . hmmm…. does Perro have a particular interest in Senorita Voluptuosa?

There’s just… I dunno… something about her name… I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Fernando, as ever, is stone-faced, and resigned.

Cheer up, Fernando… it all just might work!

Funny! You might not want to put your finger on it, but there’s some guys that would.

Fernando’s face still looks real sore. Poor guy! Do you suppose it might be infected?

Is Toronado midnight blue in real comic life?

In panel 5, what is holding up the bottom of Perro’s cape?

RE: your last question. It might have something to do with the corned beef and cabbage he ate last night.

I think he is just that fast. He runs like the wind. In fact he’s so fast, he and Toronado could swap places and still outrun the lancers.

@ Dennissinseattle (from yesterday)>

I suspect the default avatar you’re using from WordPress/gravatar has coding that automatically dumps your “Likes” into “Guests.” I used the method below to change my avatar to your pets avatar picture from GoComics on this site, so they should work for you, too. And hopefully solve the “Like” problem too.

Go back to GoComics and drag-and-drop your avatar painting picture, and only your painting picture, into your computer’s Picture folder (it will likely drop as “unnamed” — but that’s not important right now; I’m not surly either).

Look up and right to the “Howdy, Dennissinseattle” and hover or left click on it — (if you’re not logged in, you won’t see it, and probably need to set up another account; that’s why nighthawks got rid of gravatar too many problems.) — and select “Edit Profile”

If you’re in full screen, the box, it’s obvious, shows up immediately, if you’re not scroll down until you see it; again, it’s obvious.

Some people have “Choose File” and some people have “Browse” as the top selection box,…

Right click on this link and open in a new window so you don’t lose this page. It will take you directly to StelBel’s March 10th comment showing both boxes.

…apparently both lead to your computer’s files which is where you want to be.

Click on whichever box you have and navigate back to your computer’s Picture file when the window opens.

Click on your GoComics avatar picture, and make sure its name appears to the right of the selection box.

Final step….YAY… click “Uddate Profile” with your fingers crossed (it helps).

As I said, these steps worked for me to update my avatar picture to yours throughout the site. If you try them, they should work.

Thanks, Alexi. I have never seen the “Howdy” message. I am now considering that it might be due to changes I made to screen appearance in the Chrome disability access menu. I will dig in further when I have time, right now I am finishing getting my tax data to my accountant, and starting Tuesday I have jury duty.

I’m here now and like Grog and Liverlips smell a trap.

Guess we have to stay tuned until the next exciting episode to find out.

It’s for events like that that the word, “awesome” was coined! I would’ve loved to have seen that in person!

How many launches have you been to?

Unfortunately, none since we lived in the L.A area. But we attended a kazillion air shows! To this day, our 4 kids and their families attend as many as there are in their areas. And MMM loves when the grandkids ask him questions about his rocket career.

That was Wernher von Braun in the video, wasn’t it? He was so brilliant!

It’s fascinating that any camera could have survived the tremendous heat that the rocket was generating to be able to film the close-up shots. I’d love to know how it was done.

In the 60’s, we’d all be glued to the TV to watch these amazing launches. Nowadays, there’s just a fraction of that old excitement. I still think it’s amazing, though. We’ve come a long way in just over 100 years.

Why? Do you think you did?

Unless you think that I might have been referring to 100 years from the first space launches? Maybe I should have been clearer….I should have said, “We’ve come a long way in just over 100 years since the Wright Brothers.”

Mole poblano. Well-made, it’s superb. I assume it uses poblano peppers to spice up the cacao.
