I went to the Chrome disability access menu and played with all the buttons. None of them made the “Howdy, Alexikakos” bar disappear, so I don’t think that’s the problem.
As you have never seen the “Howdy, Dennisinseatle” bar, I’m guessing that you are signing in at the first dialogue box shown in the attachment below (marked 1 in red).
(You can right click on the attachment and open it in a new window and it automatically opens in an easily viewed mode.)
It does kind of make itself the obvious place, but it’s an example
of absolutely bad programming by the plug-in programmers.
The one you want is the second box in the attachment (marked 2 in red) reached by clicking “Login” shown in the red oval in box 1.
If you don’t have a recognized account, you’ll have to establish one, using “Register” as shown by the oval in the second box. After you establish your account, things should be straightforward.
You’ll see your “Howdy, DennisinSeattle” bar( marked 3 in, what else, red) if you’re successfully logged in.
That should do it, Alexi! The addition of the screen shot is well done and should be clear to Dennis, so I would continue to direct him back to this particular comment of yours.
It should be clear sailing!! (fingers crossed!)
I only meant that your screenshot instructions were clear and concise, and I thought it would be much easier to follow than everything written out. At least, it would be for me. That’s why I always go to YouTube for instructions rather than long downloads of text.
Alexi, thank you for all your efforts. I will have some time tomorrow to work on this. I only found five differences so far and I need to hit the sack.
Thanks! I finally got it and am logged in. I finally see the ‘Howdy, perkycat’. And my name comes up in the likes. I feel a part of this place now. I did have to reset my password.
Thanks, Alexi. The screen shot helped me. I’ve tried changing my password, but it didn’t let me. So, at StelBel’s suggestion, I went back to the original password and I get the “Howdy MontanaLady” message! And, my “likes” show up, too.
I had tried “log in” before but it never accepted the PW I registered with, and when I asked for a new one I never got it. With your encouragement that this is the right path, I tried again and found the password in the junk folder. As you can see, I now have a new avatar. Thank you so much for the help!
I am making my Nana’s Irish bread today, I remember sharing the recipe with you. The corned beef has been cooking sous vide at 140 for 40 hours now. We postponed celebrating St Patrick’s day so my daughter could join us.
Thanks again Alexi. I am sure it will help others as well.

Well dognab it, Nighthawks, you’ve placed the puzzler vertically again. AND with much larger panels. No wonder it won’t fit side-by-side. I’d bet even Susan Sunshine would have a hard time putting these next to each other.
Here we are again, back in the old west, … and it’s puzzle time on the range.
Perro doesn’t ride tonight… it’s another rider, in another town… I’d say a bit east of old California.
…
Nine differences indeed… and they loom large… as does everything in tonight’s puzzle… cos it’s huge!
Yes, Liverlips… I did do a side by side… but as you surmised, it’s huge too…. about 1800 pixels wide.
…
Nighthawks and I both thought it was just as easy… actually I think it’s easier… to solve it vertically, where you an compare the panels more closely than having to scroll all that distance.
… He said I didn’t have to post the horizontal version… but it IS already made and uploaded…
…
So if anybody feels nostalgic (for, like, you know… last week…) … you can take a look at it… but I warn you….
Here on the site, it’s too small to see, what with 1800 pixels crammed into no more than 500px wide.
So please click on it… you’ll go to PostImage… where they’ll also scale it down.
…
I had to click through three screens to convince them I wanted to see it full size…
(in Firefox you can just right click and pick “view image“, but I was testing, for those of you silly enough to NOT use Firefox.)
My computer is a 14” laptop… my screen is. I think, 1360 pixels wide. Scrolling 1800px doesn’t help me compare panels.
it would have been a day late for the official beginning of Spring,
(not that that would mean anything)
but it would not have been too late to post it tomorrow….or the next day.
OK, only eight, but that includes one you missed. There is a missing board line in the lower picture. It happens to be close to a different difference, but it’s definitely real.
I caught the obvious, and my ring to mark it wiped out the tenth one that P51 found.

It didn’t take too long to find all of them. Wheels and thousands of comics, including all the Cleo and Company comic strips have been deleted. They even took the visit sherpa for the bottom of the screen. Would it be possible for Radish or some of the other comics to be posted here on the comments section like the Youtube videos are done? We would be happy to mention this on other comics sites so that people would come here. I already mentioned this site on other comics sites.
It gives me the greatest of pleasure to award you the first of these on this the new site of
Cleo and Company.

It took forever, but I got them all! Sneaky and obvious. Yay!
I will try your ‘fixes’, Alexi when I have more time. We have family coming up for Easter, and we have no cleaning lady yet, so every spare moment is packed. (grumble, grumble)
Enjoy the family. We are finally going out to breakfast with my daughter and her husband tomorrow. We are going to the same place we went one ugly year ago. Feels so good!

10-4. thanks for helping, I really really appreciate it!

Found all nine, but it took 20 minutes.
Howdy Cleo Pals and Puzzle People…

But if you have a huge monitor, hey, rock out:
it does seem overly large…..I’ll repost it a little smaller
OK – got nine.
It’s Spring!
you just posted what I was going to post tomorrow…..
…what have been too late…
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equinox
it would have been a day late for the official beginning of Spring,
(not that that would mean anything)
but it would not have been too late to post it tomorrow….or the next day.
or even next week
You must be trying to discourage me from posting stale, moldy, old reruns!
I don’t think there are any C&C “stale, moldy, old reruns!”
And, in my case if I walk thru the Portal of Forgetfulness and don’t remember them, then they’re brand new.
you must meet new folks everyday!
Isn’t that great!
Exactly!
I’d never post anything like that.
Not before giving Nighthawks a fair chance, that is.
(I’ll get my coat)
OK… time to post the solution.
I’m thinking most of you are working on the puzzle in the vertical format…. so that’s how I did the solution.
Just be sure you HAVE been working on the puzzle before you click… you don’t want that giant cowboy mad at you!
OK, only eight, but that includes one you missed. There is a missing board line in the lower picture. It happens to be close to a different difference, but it’s definitely real.
Eight, again with the easy miss!
I’m with P51 on this one.

Oh, hell yes!….I don’t know why they would want to post here, but it would certainly
be welcome, and with open arms

Good morning, Cleophanatics! T -24D 2H 17M
International Day of Happiness
NATIONAL QUILTING, PROPOSAL, RAVIOLI, CORN DOG, and WORLD FLOUR DAY
Happy trails to you, until we meet again… Except for this horse. This horse is ticked. Probably because of the size of those spurs. Wow
Y’all dip your corn dog in some ravioli and smile.
Speaking of happiness…
Aww……..he is soooo cute! Best dog walk ever!!
Smile … Happy day
I’ve seen their teeth…
’twas a nice doggie nonetheless.
she looks like my non-basset-but-can’t-help-it rescue doggie
SOMEbody just tracked up the carpet…..we’ll get Sam Basset in here with a
magnifying glass to track down the culprit!
Yes!! Got them all! Even those subtle, sneaky ones Nighthawks like to put in. Happy Spring!
my old momma used to say :
sneaky is as sneaky does
Yay! Got nine! Made my own side-by-side before I found Susan had had done it for me (again.) Gotta finish looking before I leap!
It took forever, but I got them all! Sneaky and obvious. Yay!

Went to Big Bear with the kids and grandkids. A fun time was had by all. The 3-year-old loves tubing.
Soooooooooooooo.. is this Cowboy a new character? Love his scruffy look.
We saw him one time, in an animation that I hope Nighthawks will rerun.
Yup; I have it saved back then but won’t be posting it prematurely again.
