@ Everybody

Orchestral comedy gold to show how talented this orchestra is, then its interpretation of Leonard Cohen.

People, the time is worth your while, I promise.

Alexi, I was excused from jury duty this morning which could have gone two weeks or more. So I took a break and explored all of the the Danish National Orchestra’s movie themes. I will check out your new recommendations tomorrow.

Very true, Alexikakos, very well use of “time”. The first one was absolutely hilarious, especially the ending. The second one, well, I’ve followed Leonard Cohen on and off since grade 9 school, and that’s something like 53 years now, back in the day when he wasn’t that well known, even here in Canada. Such a rich and beautiful voice, and it was ever so sad that he left us not that long ago. I still get tears in my eyes when I hear his Hallelujah song.
Loved the audience participations in both exhibits. I, too, need to check further into this orchestra. Sounds great!

As for Perro….

His perspicacity in providing his person with a proper method of passing out of reach of the poltroons in the employ of Slurez demonstrates the powers of divination of his alter-ego Don Doggo.

The Senorita Voluptuosa seems to be living up to her name. Or am I reading too much into these panels? Toronado is ready for the challenge!

Bassets normally average between 40 and 63 pounds, so I think Toronado can handle them both without breaking a sweat, even if you add in the weight of the clothes, the sword and the whip.

When we first saw Toronado, a couple of us noted that he seemed to be of a special basset horse breed… not much taller than Perro.

He does seem to have since… ah… risen to the occasion, being now more the shape of a quarter horse.

That designation would almost be accurate for his size, as well… but I’d say he’s more like a half horse…

A cartoon horse, first, to be sure… but closer to Shetland or maybe Welsh pony size than Arabian stallion.

If his two riders, , together, weigh only a bit more than 100 pounds, they’re still a fairly heavy.ride for his small stature.

But he is Toronado! I’m sure he can still run like… you know… the wind.

Even a gale force tornado wind.

Cleomigos! Cleomigas!

Perro rides! And with a passenger!

The plot not only thickens… it starts to boil over and solidify!

A daring escape.. bullets flying everywhere…

Everywhere except where they’re supposed to go.. .

luckily for Perro and the lovely Señorita Voluptuosa!

That guard who saw them did not turn out to be a friend… or a great marksman….

and his fellow guards seemed to have trained at the same Academia Militar de Payasos... the Clown Military Academy.

The lovely Señorita saved room for Perro.

A good call…. cos otherwise he’d have landed right on top of her.

Now run, Toronado! Gallop like the wind!

Testing how many posts it takes to go from an active member to a famed member. One on 3-24

It seems to go back and forth on a daily basis.

Noble member seems to come after famed member…

yet today, several people are Noble Members while (as of March 24th, midnight PDT) StelBel, Nighthawks and I have gone back to Famed.

I’m wondering whether there isn’t some complicated algorithm involving number of posts, likes received, videos posted and moon phases, mixed with eye color, wildflower honey, and shoe size, according to ancient alchemy formulae.

Isn’t it Active – Trusted – Noble – Famed?

I can’t tell for sure…

I do know Trusted is the first of those three, after Active.. and that Stel was Famed, and then Noble, and is now Famed again.

I never saw Noble on my avatar, so i thought Famed came before that.

Right now I’m on my tablet where “reputations” don’t show, so I can’t tell if anything has changed.

There seemed to have been a system to it at first, that followed Tigressy’s series. Now, it doesn’t make any sense at all and is all rather random, so I don’t put much stock into it at all, nor should anyone else.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s all rather meaningless, and was just something that came with the like/dislike plug-in. The other thing that I could very much live without is the “dislike” button. I do hope that it never gets used on this site. It was just another thing that came automatically with that plug-in, and we’re unsure how it can be gotten rid of. All that does seems to do is create negativity.

The dislike was me searching for where the “dislike” button was in the programming. I think it’s individual to the comment right now, but more tomorrow as I cludge my way through it.
.
As a side note, note my avatar right now. I had it as an animation back when I was looking for how you did it, bu now it’s as still again. I’ll change it back to my usual sometime on Thursday. Or I get a gif that works.

I wonder how long Perro will be able to resist kissing the fair maiden.

I learned something today! Soldados were the original Stormtroopers. Who knew?

Good thing too, or the brave and plucky senorita would be playing body armor for our intrepid hero.

Y’all stay huggable so I can do this (((((HUGS!)))))

I, like every other teenage girl I unite, had a mad crush on Ricky Nelson…

And I liked that song, until one day I listened to the lyrics… and I thought, why is he singing a song about being a JERK?

I think the twins are still touring with a multi media show about their dad. It’s pretty good and they’re super nice after the show. Saw it a few years ago and enjoyed it.

And the adventure continues! What I want to know, is why did Perro leave his magical rope there? Now Slurez’s men are all going to escape. Oh no!

I like how Perro has her behind him. If any of those bullets find their target, he should be okay. Nice jump over the wall!

She’s the one who told him she left him room.

She should have slid forward, not back, and left the space BEHIND her.

Ah, but that might have been just too much temptation, even for a noble basset like Don Doggo/Perro.

Shouldn’t Maria be in the front so that Perro can protect her from the bullets? VPN is acting up and got problems with firefox. Gonna have to reinstall everything.

At the moment, I appear to have lost all ranking PLUS the avatar animation, which I’ve just tried to re-install, but was unsuccessful. According to Susan, the rankings have been going back and forth (her comment is way up above on this page), so it’s really hard to put much stock in them at all! At least, you’re a member….

Right now, there is nothing under my avatar, so I must be “low person on the totem pole”! Oh, well……that’s not the first time in my life I’ve been there. Someone’s got to be on the bottom, right?

At any rate, things change on WordPress at a moment’s notice. How exciting is THAT?

Just as I posted the above comment, everything but the animated avatar returned…for who knows how long?

I guess the system rights itself after a fashion…

And, now, everything is sort of back to normal, save the animated avatar. Who knows how long that’ll stay that way?

P51Strega: you will always be noble in my book, and at some point that will happen here, as well. All you have to know is the secret handshake, and after you learn that, you can teach it to me.
