I seem to remember reading in a Popular Science or Mechanics that at one time you could buy one, in the box, and have it imported into the US.
Customs would remove the guns and any under wing hard points and you had a certified airframe mechanic put it together.
It’s fine, it’s just the flammable gas with a bit of oxygen, she hasn’t opened the oxygen valve more yet to give the blue flame. The amount of oxygen you add is dependent upon what you’re wanting the flame to do.
I’m thinking along these lines. You’re on/in a spaceship of some kind. You are at an airlock, and you see this on the other side of the airlock. What do you do now?
“A 3D animation of liquid mercury, created by Cubicle Ninjas. This visual effect was used in a product showcase video for a speaker system to represent high-energy music. ”
Okay…. My interpretation:
Mind you, this is not a photograph, but a made-up animation, representing the supposed effect of the sound of the music on a ball of mercury. I don’t know whether any scientific research was done.
It’s.part of a mock ad, for a product that doesn’t exist, created to display the type of advertising this company can produce.
You can see that some bits are not the same between the pictures…
like the rearmost vehicle is a black car in one and a red truck in the other… And the luggage(?) is placed differently.
It must be so much fun to build and arrange.
…
I don’t know for certain whether it was done by the same person (or team?), but quite a while back we saw a street scene like this.
It looked real, but a longer shot showed that it was really miniatures on a table across the street.
To specify the cause of death: He dared people to hit him into the stomach without getting hurt. But that last guy did that without a warning; Houdini hadn’t time to tense his solar plexus…
Shenanigans!
A surfeit of toebeans!
Ive seen polydactyl cats, but not like that. If it’s real it must be some kind of record!
The record is 28 altogether, but I don’t know whether that means one paw can have 8 and the others fewer.
Creatures with extra toes are called polydactyl.
There are actually a fair number of polydactyl cats.
This one’s paw looks just a bit too, I dunno… regular, I guess.
Usually the toes aren’t so perfect.
Makes it look like it might be AI.
…
But there are cats that look ALMOST like that.
This is a picture of Daniel, a very real polydactyl cat from the Milwaukee Animal Shelter, who was used in their fundraising campaign around 2010.
(If you recognize it, it might be because x_Tech used it for his avatar for years.)
Daniel had 26 toes altogether. Two extra per paw.
The shelter asked people to donate $1 a toe, and got quite a few $26 donations!
Apparently I can’t post two pictures in one comment.
This one shows one of Daniel’s paws more clearly.
His other paws are more divided.
Puts my Oliver to shame! What a pawfull – impressive!
“I am Monarch of all I survey…”
Where she belongs.
Mig-15
Dumb Russians labelled it a Mig-18…

Wow!
Am I missing some detail, or is that extremely unsafe?
It’s okay, she’s wearing gloves…

I think Liverlips concern was that the item she was about to torch looked suspiciously explosive…
Which is a hatch cover.
More cartoon physics: The boulder lands on Wile E. before the rope he pulled on to release the boulder has hit the ground.
Galileo hadn’t been invented yet…
Normally I don’t laugh at these but today I did.
It’s the absurdity that gets me. 😀
Hints of M.C. Escher.

That’s one ANGRY pineapple!
I was thinking strawberry, but I think you’re right. Probably dizzy by now.
Thinking of that, churrascarias do a great job on broiled pineapple with cinnamon and sugar.
According to my search:

My first impression was ferrofluid and a magnet.
I can smell cherry blossoms.
I just finished a re-read of Terry Pratchett’s “Night Watch” and could only see lilacs.
Yikes, that guy must be like 20 heads tall.
And the woman is probably related to all those toon men on Ballard Street with pipe cleaner legs.
funny, I paid scant attention to the details of the couple, only that they were
there.
.
They do shrink when you get them wet…
I think i have seen his work before.
Wonderful modeling work!

I imagine it came from the same hands.
Somebody should wear that to the Oscars or the Grammys. Lots classier than some of the dresses that I’ve seen
Less revealing too…
It had to belong to an early ancestor of Cher!
A reflection from the recent past?
It’s the only way I’ll get them!
Yes…. A couple of weeks ago maybe?
I recognized his kid picture… I’m not sure how, myself…
But
I gave some details about his hard-knock early life, and even posted his favorite poem.
sorry. my brain must be in free fall
Join the club.
No need to apologize.
And this way everybody gets a second chance !😁
,
If there’s ever an apartment available on that street….
Don’t bother telling me!
wouldn’t you love to take a stroll by the light of the eyeball moon?
By the light of the eyeball-y moon
I want to run
Tell my honey, I’m done… no fun..
Eyeball moon, if you’re shinin’ in June
Your scary beams will bring our screams…
We’ll be running quite soon,
From the eyeball-y moon!
Really a wonderful poster from Stel Bel. And proof that as an actor, Cleo has the range to play “masculine”, testosterone-soaked roles.
Musical sound track by Ennio Marricone.
Ennio Marrowbone.
Yeah that Marricone guy was just a copydog human.
Good though…
2CV Draisine, set up to run on the railway.
From today’s London “Daily Mail.”
To specify the cause of death: He dared people to hit him into the stomach without getting hurt. But that last guy did that without a warning; Houdini hadn’t time to tense his solar plexus…
at his bad-ass best
I lust for that car.
Boss 302?
Betcha coulda got it cheap after the chase scene…
