Went to San Francisco in about that time, but was with a school group. Too young to appreciate it.
Those are some fine looking dancers.
Hard to even read paperbacks with all the libraries closed.
Those are some really horrific-looking bassets.
No wonder my test page version of the side by side didn’t show up they’re. I posted it on the currant page by accident (it sounds better than fuelishly); anyway, it’s gone now.
But for those of you who want to do another puzzle, here’s one from the “Puzzles and Games” page above. There’s a whole bunch more up there.
It wasn’t here when I got here… so you must have posted it while I was typing my first comment…
I saw it for a moment when I refreshed, and not after I refreshed again.
Meanwhile… no prob… I’m having one of those myself.
…
The reason for my oops was that before I left this evening, I apparently uploaded my partial solution to PostImage, confusing it with my side by side because I’d forgotten to rename it.
When I saw some differences circled. I deleted it as quickly as I could!
BTW… those “test pages” are still public…
Hopefully there will be latecomers to this site who’ll be looking for where to begin..
I try to “clean up” after myself when I test anything there, so as not to sow confusion.
My test page is another date here on the site. I type up my comments in Word and check that they work as I want them to. If anybody bothered to follow all they would see is my pasting/deleting…. pasting/deleting … pasting/deleting … pasting/deleting …
and ?? Oh, yes, spell–check comes to me to verify its spellings, but the owners keep putting off the date I’m going to be paid so I find I have to sell this bridge I own to cover my bills. It’s pictured below. Make an offer, cash only, please.
Sometimes I skip the extra material. Yeah, seen that, done that. But I am really glad I played the Maria clip. Just reminds me of what a genius Leonard Bernstein was. I wish he had spent more time on operas/musicals.
This is a ten year old interview with Rita Moreno. It’s stuck in my mind all this time. The video is 13 minutes and 45 seconds plus commercial (who knows, CBC, you may get the Canadian one). Click on the LINK below (you can go full screen).
come on Ti, please let me post my own stuff in my own time!….when you post these, it
makes it hard to post them again as the comic of the day in the future.
Post anything in here, except for stuff that I can potentially feature again.
Since it’s been up and running all morning and most folks have seen it, it might just as
well remain today…….
I had withdrawn a response to a request from SusanSunshine a few days ago hoping you’d post it (the .gif with the shot speech bubbles), but it never showed.
In the past, you never objected when I posted your stuff. Why now? And why not via PM?
What’s the difference anyway? It’s great stuff, it fits, everyone knows who the artist(s) is/(are).
glad you think it’s great stuff. seriously!
Because I’m basically lazy and post a lot of reruns, I go into my ‘pool’ of
available rerun material and try to find if it’s been posted a year or more ago.
Now, under those conditions, I won’t be able to rerun this little animation for
another year……I know, not that a big a deal. But it’s my desire to not see
these things again until at least a year is passed.
the animation you mentioned hasn’t been rerun yet for two reasons…
I ran it for the first time on May 15 of last year…..so a year hasn’t passed yet.
Additionally, right now with the animation-less Perro series, Fridays (animation days)
are all filled until this thing finishes up early next month.
I got all 8! WooHoo! This was a great way to start a Saturday morning. Thanks for giving us an easy one, Nighthawks. (even though there was a bunch of p——– in it.)

Magenta has very magenta colors in Basset form!
Magenta is very similar to Purplie!
nuh uh!
Agreed.
Deutsche Telekom succeeded in ™ing “magenta” as their pinkish color.
Good evening, Cleo Pals and Puzzle People…
Sorry for a slight delay his evening…. I went out brief;y and came home to an electrical outage…
But everything is back… and the cause turned out to be really dumb… so all is well….
and here is your side by side puzzle!
…
Ooops…. hope nobody saw that.
Ahem…. so… I meant to say… HERE is your side by side Nine Differences!
Whew!
Thanks for taking it down… I appreciate it.
It wasn’t here when I got here… so you must have posted it while I was typing my first comment…

So… are you testing spell Czech now?
My test page is another date here on the site. I type up my comments in Word and check that they work as I want them to. If anybody bothered to follow all they would see is my pasting/deleting…. pasting/deleting … pasting/deleting … pasting/deleting …

I’ll give you a quarter.
Twenty-SEVEN cents!
What’s the threshold for free package and delivery again?
I’ll add the 10$ for extended warranty to that.
I have no objection to this one;
It’s unlikely I’ll ever repost it
28 cents to outbid me for the bridge…. or 8 differences?
I know about the differences… I just call all the files “Cleo nine differences” so I can find them in date order in my folder…
It never occurred to me I’d be making them for so many years!
Some day I suppose I might want to rename them all… but all the postimage links still work for possible reruns.
;c)
I found eight, all that are said to exist ( six and a half minutes); I didn’t go looking for any more.
Maybe P51 will find an extra as he did last week. I went looking and found the tenth one too after being alerted to its existence by him.
I’m pretty sure eight is it…
But hey… anybody who wants to challenge that assumption… rock out!
I found the eight so fast I’m sure there must be a ninth (and probably a tenth as well…)
Sometimes I skip the extra material. Yeah, seen that, done that. But I am really glad I played the Maria clip. Just reminds me of what a genius Leonard Bernstein was. I wish he had spent more time on operas/musicals.

Well worth watching! Thanks Alexi!
You’re welcome, 🙂I’m glad you liked it.
Since we share the same name, I’m always interested in Rita Moreno stories. This was great, Alexi. Thanks!
What do you do if you both need to use it at the same time?
Then you can call me Peaches. (just not canned peaches)
I never was a follower of the Beatles until I was serenaded by about 50 guys with Lovely Rita at my last job. What a treat!
Oh, the horror!
Somebody ought to tell her to put that flower in her hair.
San Fransciscan nightsare on my mind
And now….
😴 😴 😴 😴
Got 8!
I remember this! Nighthawks responded to a challenge!

AWWWWWWSOME!
Rruff Rriff is looking mighty rough. Or should that be “rrrufff”?
Oops…. last time I looked at the time it was a LOT earlier.
There must be something wrong with the clock in my computer…
and it’s affecting my watch, too….. and my phone.
—
Past time to post the solution.
Has everybody been finding lotsa differences?
Did everybody notice that it says EIGHT, and not go crazy like I did for a while looking for nine?
Welll …..
….
BTW… I saw that look. … Yeah, I wear a watch.
I know right where it is… I don’t have to fetch it from my pocket, or my purse, or wonder if I left it in the bedroom…or press any buttons.
It cost I think $27 at Target about 3 years ago… the previous one lasted 5 years or so…
They tell time in the rain, in the shower, and when I’m washing dishes.
And it has buttons and a screen…. so it’s not an ancient artifact.
I’m not allowed to have ancient artifact ones cos I forget to take them off for the shower and washing dishes.
…
…
WOW!
…..
Beautiful!

NATIONAL JOE, SPANISH PAELLA, SCRIBBLE, INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON DAY
With one of the main characters named Frank-N-Furter, casting calls for this cult classic basset version must’ve been around several blocks.
Let’s see. Some Joe this morning, a little paella for lunch and scribble some notes from my medical liaison. Kind of a full day.
Y’all time warp. (((((HUGS)))))
Kewl reunion

I like the extended pinky…
Phine photo. Love the TP flying in from the right. But what in Dog’s name is up with Tim Curry’s right arm?
He’s got the phunky lab gloves on. Just more skin toned like these:
