we were in Hamilton once. just south of Missoula. love the small towns, but wouldn’t want to live there. too much snow! and too far to drive for a Costco.
I got my Trikke T-12’s (model pictured in spoiler box below), annual maintenance done to add it to my exercise regimen.
I took it out yesterday for an intended 15 minute ride (it is an exercise machine); talk about out of shape; I didn’t last 10 minutes (again, the result of inertness).
I’ll stick with it though, as I definitely need the exercise (before the mess, an hour, with upslope climbs, wasn’t uncommon).
The everyday-people-easily-using-a-Trikke demonstration videos are enhanced to say the least ( I’ll agree the stunt ones and hill climb ones are not); there is no way you can hit the speeds shown on a level road, they’re all down-slope, guaranteed.
1.) Click on the advertisement.
2.) Click on the full screen button
3.) Click on the + — in the magnifying glass to the full screen button’s right
4.) Keep the hand in the centre of the advertisement and move it up and down and side to side
Unfortunately, I did not find a way to bring the artist’s signature, to the left of the rear tire, to legibility (Brian ?. Bruce ? – L something ?).

Just from the number of choices for the vehicle listed in the advertisement (which do not mention exterior colours [mult hue possible?] or interior finishing choices) choosing four out of a possible eight items at a time, we’re already at 70 possible combinations.
I stole this.
Did you know that you can violate nearly every religious dietary law on the planet by eating chili cheese dogs on Good Friday? Especially if you wash ’em down with a rum & coke.
i’m with Claude! sinking a new electronic toy is just plain silly.

I have a degree in computer programming, but it was so long ago. New technology is a big mystery today. And, I love a good mystery, but………… I’m totally with Claude on this. I did figure out the MP3 player, though, many, many days ago.
Like Claude, some technologies became obsolete before I even started using them
Kiki! How did you gat out!
A black leopard – beautiful animal. Rare, I assume.
I don’t know how rare they are, but a black leopard, like that one, is called a black panther.
The panther isn’t a separate animal… in Africa, it’s a black leopard, but in South America, it’s a black jaguar.
I’m not sure if any other cat, like maybe an Asian one, has a black form called a panther as well.
In any case, black panthers… the feline ones, not the human ones, AFAIK all have spots… They’re not solid black.
…
BTW “Panthera” is the genus of all the big cats….
Long ago, “panther” could refer to almost any of them, but today we say “lion”, “cougar” etc…
And we mostly reserve “panther” for black ones…
except that in some parts of North America, the cougar (aka puma or mountain lion) is also called a panther (but not a black panther).
When you hear all those names, it sounds like we’re referring to more species than we really are.
It’s ok… There are still cheetahs, ocelots, and a lot of others that are separate species.
…
Anyway…I guess this post would have been better if I’d simply looked it up first!
whatever their names, they are a very beautiful cat!
Or, as we say here in the hills, a “Painter”.
Here it is today (Street View at the link). LINK. For some reason I’m having trouble posting things tonight. So I hope this worked.
If it does, clicking the diagonal down arrow in the lower left corner of the map clears it.
Does that say J. C. Penny. COM ?
I’m sure it’s Penney and (or &) Company.
yep, it’s ”Company”.
A company ahead of it’s time!

My husband and I based our moves on how close a Walmart was. There are 3 of them within 10 miles of us here.
and we have one, also.
A bit of fluff I stumbled over the other day.

Claude’s as bad as me.
Good music and videos tonight.
Thanks for the daily updates. I am a long-time lurk-er on Cleo and Company, and never miss a day!
little red wagon
I found an advertisement for the model.
To bring it to legibility:
1.) Click on the advertisement.
2.) Click on the full screen button
3.) Click on the + — in the magnifying glass to the full screen button’s right
4.) Keep the hand in the centre of the advertisement and move it up and down and side to side

I posted that because I was hoping Plods would call attention to today’s
special day

Good morning Cleophanatics! Guess what day it is.
there. i feel better seeing my favorite commercial!
Whoever did the voice-over deserves a ton of credit. He is hilarious.
Our cat…
She looks like she would make mincemeat out of the E.W.C.,
Edgar Allan Poe:
“…all cats are she…”
See you all on Saturday (maybe).
Yes indeed. – She used to growl at passing dogs.
It doesn’t show, but she’s almost 15.
She looks comfy to me. 🙂
I stole this.
