I’m not sure which one you mean cos both on the left look that way…. But I think the one in front has her arm behind whatever that is that the pizza is sitting on… and the one in back seems to have both her hands near the window.
But… The one on the right has her hand attached backward. Your thumb is on the inside of your wrist.
And why is there some sort of folded cardboard sleigh outside the window?
I searched for the model, but couldn’t find her name.
Am I the only one who’s going to draw attention to the optical illusion face (I mean in the top picture)?
I’ve read your other comment below as well.
I can make out a figure, not definitely to me as Shrek, but passable. More green would help for me.
These are interesting variations, similar to those manipulated photos where, if you look from an extreme angle a different image or word appears.
”Weird” in that sense — just like the word’s spelling…
Naw… The resolution is too bad to really tell, but to my squinched up eyes, their legs are basset-like….. too short and chubby for kittens.
They look like their eyes are still closed. Kittens this age look impossibly delicate.
I once took a picture, now long lost, of my cat’s litter of six, having managed to escape their Mama’s cardboard box den, all asleep, curled up in an egg carton… one per cup, like calico eggs. I could almost have closed the lid.
Ancient Black Sea shipwrecks found in the Black Sea date to antiquity. In 1976, Willard Bascom suggested that the deep, anoxic waters of the Black Sea might have preserved ships from antiquity since typical wood-devouring organisms could not survive there. At a depth of 150m, the Black Sea contains insufficient oxygen to support most familiar biological life forms. {Wikipedia}
One day, during the time of the V-1 attacks on London, my father was cycling to work, he worked on the footplate as a fireman for the LNER out of Kings Cross shed, when he saw a V-1 heading directly towards him just above rooftop height, pulse jet off, gliding down. He told me that he ditched the bike and dived into an alley between a couple of houses. The V-1 came down a few streets behind him. He would have been around 18/19 at the time.
He never spoke much about that time in his life, neither did my mother, but I know a few details of what they went through living in London at the time. My mother was 5 years younger than my father, so she was in school for most of the war.
I got the name of the movie and the actress. Although I know it’s not him, I can’t help thinking the guy looks like Joe Flaherty, of Second City TV. (Count Floyd)
Not any dog that has ever lived in my house. Even though the little girl is a dainty eater, don’t stick your big black muzzle in her bowl.
And Buddy is your normal gulper.

No basset I’ve ever known would toss a treat away like that! I’m likely to lose fingers just holding a treat out to my guys.
When a Swede tells you runestones are everywhere they really do mean it! This stone from the 1070-1100’s, for example, ended up as a house foundations in Sweden’s capitol in the 1600’s and can be found in the corner of the streets Kåkbrinken and Prästgatan. As with most runestones it is a memorial stone, and this one reads Torsten och Frögunn de (lät resa) stenen efter …, sin son “Torsten and Frögunn let raise this stone after their son (or in their sons name)”
The old cannon was likely put there at some point by the house owner to prevent horse drawn wagons bumping into the corner of his house. The cannon on house edges was a common thing back then, apparently they used worn out or faulty cannons and reinforced corners of houses with them.
Labs and especially golden retrievers will just about eat a rock if they think they’re getting a treat.
Small dogs are often fussier. My little schipperke would grab a treat, run off with it… then stop to reconsider.
Dry dog biscuits usually ended up dropped on the ground. The only Milk Bones she’d deign to eat were the small ones in different colors… And she preferred the brownish ones.
AFAIK bassets are generally in the less picky group.
Then again, most of them don’t have movie star salaries (even if most of Cleo’s earnings ARE put in trust), or get to order pizzas, or eat chips.
Saucy was a picky eater. She’d take one kibble to her bed, eat it, then go back for another. She did eventually eat at the bowl, but didn’t have to finish every bit right away. She’d often leave some for later.
Moxie was a vacuum cleaner. Put food down and it was gone.
Cookie is more like Saucy. She will sometimes not finish her food, she’d rather have her rawhide chew and then go back for the food. She’s funny about new foods/treats. Has to sniff, lick and ponder before she decides to eat it (or not).
If anybody is looking to find major league baseball online, try this site on Reddit through the Kingdom of Tonga..
It’s easy to use, with a minimum of fuss (although there may be a number of redirects / they’re obvious, just get rid of them until you get the active “play arrow”).
I’ve put an attachment showing the current six games in progress at 13:57 E.D.T. today.

AI with a face.
And no design sense…
Very creepy.
But the face looks kinda familiar.
Maybe Weird Al Yankovic?
Better looking than him.
To whom?
Just my opinion… so to me.
But have you seen Weird Al?
Yes:

I would have loved to attend his tour including Germany a couple of years ago.
Oh, no! Everything is wrong.
That one girl’s arm is a pizza!

Google street view?
It does have that effect on cars…
Sorry… but… it turns them into faces??
Or was that meant to be for a different picture?
The few of one car gets distorted into something more or less resembling several identical cars merged into one.
Apparently it’s a thing…
AI apps or memes that make faces out of young women with pizzas.
Strange.
Weird.
I think the AI was just learning it’s craft on this one…
I searched for the model, but couldn’t find her name.
Am I the only one who’s going to draw attention to the optical illusion face (I mean in the top picture)?
I noticed it right off the bat when I first saw it. Like Happy³ said above concerning the second picture, the one Susan posted…
“Weird.”
Just Shrek.
I’ve read your other comment below as well.

If you can look at it smaller, you’ll see that it’s quite obviously a digital image of Shrek… especially if you half close your eyes.
That’s hard on a computer monitor, but if you can view it on a phone or tablet, you can hold it at arm’s length.
Same idea to view the top image… It’s a pretty realistic photo of somebody.
Or download them, and look at the thumbnails.
I tried to make a smaller version to post here, but WordPress just makes it big to fill the space.
Still working on that idea.
Yeah, I’m on a Desk-top MAC…
On my system (Ubuntu), “ctrl -” does the trick.
The whole point is the face.
That’s what the first comments are about.
It’s kind of a follow-up to yesterday’s face in the produce market.
I didn’t realize some people weren’t seeing it.
The one I posted is also a face… That’s why it says to squint your eyes.
It’s not any weirder than the other… The concept is weird, making faces from pizza and young women… who BTW aren’t “models”, they’re AI generated.
But the face on the one I posted, instead of a handsome young man… who might be an actor or musician I don’t recognize… is Shrek.
Just move farther away and squint till you see Shrek!
,
I’m gonna vote that it’s the heads that are photoshoped in….
I thought (maybe think) so too….
But according to Google it’s a photo of real guys looking over a miniature set used in filming a movie called “Braindead”.
I didn’t investigate further to see if they were in the cast.
Didn’t know what it was from, but knew instantly it was a model, and probably of a film/TV set.
Oh, and the trolly pole on the tram on the right isn’t on the wire.
I didn’t grasp instantly that it was a model, but when deciding whether to believe it, I looked at those overhead lines.
It’s gotta be hard to find something thin enough to be in scale that won’t break all the time.. and these look thick and also too stiff.
It’s hard to explain… But real wires have a sag to them.
Not the ones used in constructing models, the interior of large clay sculptures and the like.
Yes, those are strong and stiff.
But I was saying that real overhead tram lines aren’t stiff…. they’re heavy, and not so taut, so they dip a little.
.,
Yes!
..,
Am I right in thinking we have a fine litter of kittens here?
Nope…puppies…I’ll take TWO. Or three. Oh heck – I want ’em ALL! That hound looks so much like my basset Maggie that I had to look twice!!!

No, the tails are wrong for kittens, but difficult to tell from the heads and bodies.
I almost said “Fred and Ethel” for the first photo!
I was right there behind you. 🙂
Gosh…. I bet
I suppose he does look a little like William Frawley….
But I’m sure you know
Below she’s pictured
All taken on the
Yup! I was just reading from left to right…
Van Gogh

Well, I don’t see any differences, much less nine.
I watch Kroum Batchvarov’s Youtube channel. He studies this sort of stuff!
BTW, the pot is depicting Ulysses being tormented by the Sirens…

I wish the description had said whether there was a connection between the ship and the pottery.
Was it found on the ship, or does it illustrate the type of craft… or neither, or both?
It’s still; being debated how likely it was for a Spitfire to “flip” a V-1

An aunt was killed in the London blitz. Mom survived the bombing of Portsmouth.

So….
Yes.
Another depressing Bradbury novel coming true…

If I’m correct, it’s pretty easy to spot… especially if you know
But if you’d like to see what I found, anyway….
I was going to say
reminds me of curious george
At least he’s also a monkey.
I agree.
Got it.
He’s a girl watcher, too, i guess… like the guy in the song up top (which BTW I always considered kinda creepy, lyrically speaking).
But sometimes ya just gotta watch where you’re going instead.
Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow….!
Is his name George?
I get a strong Australian vibe about this one.

Kinda like beating their swords into plowshares.
And if a house collapses nonetheless it might be the fault of a loose cannon?
Of course it really depends on the dog….

She’s just the teensy weensiest bit spoiled.
