I’ve been liking that Dixie Cups song for over sixty years, and while I can sing the words,
I have no idea what the language is, besides the English that is ’embedded’ into it
OK; got them. Yes; all 10.
Some too obvious (I saw one last), some very subtle (I saw one first)…

To be fair, it’s not “cats” that Cleo is trying to run over. It’s “cat”, specifically the evil white one that lives next door. Claude should keep his yap shut.

Saturday “T Plus 6 Days & Counting” Non Solution Solution
1. Left Panel: 1st cat that Cleo tried to run over was Mac Manc McManx, headed back to Manchester from Get Fuzzy – international incident narrowly avoided. Right Panel: 1st cat was Bill the Cat who, as Cleo narrowly avoided him, was thinking, “ACK.”
2. Left: 2nd cat that Cleo tried to run over was That Evil Cat Next Door. Right: 2nd cat was Max in Hello Kitty™ suit who wound up in Cleveland because the Uber driver made a wrong turn at Belchertown returning from last Saturday’s Non Solution gig.
3. Left: Claude’s right arm is pointing forward to keep Cleo on the straight and narrow. Right: Claude’s right arm is mimicking Uncle Sam Wants You military recruiting poster from yesteryear.
4. Left: Cleo’s leftward glance is in silent recognition of Lefty Stewart (1900–1974), American Major League Baseball player who pitched for 1935 Cleveland Indians. Right: Cleo is looking to her left in search of more cats to not run over.
5. Left: Car that Cleo is driving is Claude and Clara’s Coupe de Ville. Right: CADILLAC! Hahaha! Who am I kidding. Penny-pinching C&C producers would never spring for a Cadillac! – steal entire ’57 Studebaker, not just infamous Rearview Mirror, instead.
6-9. Highly technical: Plus, when did 9 turn into 10 and why? Also, something something something about @StillTheBelle, etc. etc. etc. (but “etc. etc. etc.” must be spoken in a Yul Brynner accent).

hey, you old scalawag……I believe now, to embed a video in your comments box,
just paste the URL of the video directly into the comments box and after it appears
to only post the link , refresh your page and the video will be embedded, much like
your etc etc etc was.
So interesting to see the fire trucks, the amazing moving sidewalk… and the (presumably poorer) boy shooed away from the rich kids’ toy boats with an umbrella.
It said the frame rate was adjusted and the sound added…
I think it’s still too loud and a bit too fast… Old ladies are walking at a brisk pace, while fast walkers and carriage horses are practically running.
No way to adjust the speed, but turn the volume down, and you hear the gentle murmur of cafe conversation, and a more realistic clip-clop of horse hooves…
Okay…. it’s getting late, and I’d really like to post the solution now.
But I can’t just let everybody see it, before they’ve done their best…. Cleo is behind the wheel of a car… and who knows what sort of misbehavior she’ll go after next.
But I forgot until my post a little while ago that the PostImage link, as I’m used to posting it on GoComics, on this site will display as the actual image instead.
Even in the old days on Ballard Street, we had to put in a bit of HTML code to make that happen, not just the bare link, which would still appear as a link.
I’m sure there’s a way… I’ve been playing with it a little but I’m too sleepy…
So for right now, I’ve posted the solution in our old haunt on Ballard Street…
Remember… TEN differences… it says so right on top…
FIND ‘EM… and then check for my solution post at …
Oh! I tried that button, right before I gave up and went to bed, but I did something wrong, and i was too tired to work it out at 2am when I was posting.
So thanks… and next week I’ll be posting the solution anyway…
But in general, it’s best to say WHAT you’re “spoiling” in the body of the comment box, before the “spoiler” tag…
Your first demo showed some random gif….
That may have lulled some people into opening the next one…
and “SURPRISE!”…. seeing the unlabeled puzzle solution when they weren’t expecting you to post it.
yes, it’s obvious that you should have known
because I’m a complete screw-up—but that error on Claude’s forehead has been
removed, so we are back to ten differences
I ran into the original “All About That Base” with Meghan Trainor when I heard Adriana Vlad sing the “Barbie doll” line and realized the song wasn’t actually from the thirties or forties as I originally thought because of the arrangement and went looking for the lyrics and publishing date.
I agree with you that her version is more likeable but it’s because she’s credited with the lyrics and the music and so she knows how it’s supposed to be sung; Adriana Vlad is interpreting it her way.
I suspect she ran into the Romanian censorship board (if such exists) as well. She tamed things down a bit.
Nine, they hate me! I guess I should have looked closer outside of the picture! Funny thing, I looked at that and was trying to see if the style or color was different and completely missed the obvious! I’m in a rut!
What is the language in Iko Iko?
According to this, we’ll never know…
https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/48862/iko-iko-wan-dey-what-do-words-mardi-gras-song-mean
…at least not for sure.
interesting link!

Got the differences, where is everyone? Oh, you have better things to do on a Friday night. Understood.
I’m here…. but I …. sniffle… did lose my job.
I’ll be right back, anyway…
I’m momentarily in the middle of posting directions to this site on Ye Olde Ballard Street.
Says the one who took mine! Huh!
Not that I mind…
If you’re getting this on the top video…

interesting that Canada does not allow the original video that I posted but,
at least inside Alex’s comment box, it allows this ‘official’ version

Hey, we saw her trying to run over an innocent kitty, and maybe more than one, by the side of the road.
Just how much kibble is she paying you to keep quiet?
I’ll never tell. You can’t make me talk.
We get a bonus difference for the puzzle being presented horizontally!
Straightforward, but it took me ten minutes to find all ten.
Don’t you just hate back seat drivers?

I immediately thought of that movie!

thank you thank you!
scenes of ‘La Belle Èpoque’ à Paris…

Wow…. that was fun.
So interesting to see the fire trucks, the amazing moving sidewalk… and the (presumably poorer) boy shooed away from the rich kids’ toy boats with an umbrella.

Now THAT sounds like being there!
Ohhh! What a way to start a Saturday! The sexiest man who ever lived (sigh)
Claude Clifford? ;o)
no, no, NO!
HAHAHAHA!! (sorry, Claude)
’57 Studebaker ‘Golden Hawk’
Quick! Lock the doors! “Someone” might steal the mirror!
Oooh… the ’57 Golden Hawk has always been my dream car…
though I don’t think I’d choose a metallic gold paint job.
Still the coolest car ever…
People say if you were rich, wouldn’t you rather have a newer car?
But I say no… and nowadays you have to be rich anyway, to maintain a Hawk… especially if, like me, you’re not a mechanic.
Very good, Rottie!
OK… how do I post the solution without it appearing in the comment box?
I thought I did last week but now it doesn’t want to be a link!
…..

Um… I kinda expected something about posting links…
Cool as it is, did you mean to repost Stel’s video of Paris?
I only found 5 so far, but I hope they don’t get pulled over. Claude isn’t wearing a seat belt.
Okay…. it’s getting late, and I’d really like to post the solution now.

I’m gonna have to figure this out soon!
Try this:
…and there’s that mark on Claude’s forehead, too which makes them eleven.
Oh! I tried that button, right before I gave up and went to bed, but I did something wrong, and i was too tired to work it out at 2am when I was posting.

Look again: I labeled the Solution.
That’s what the labeling function is for.
I directly addressed you.
I’m trying to help, but you criticize everything I do.
Don’t you realize how hurtful that is?
There are ELEVEN differences.
I should have known…
yes, it’s obvious that you should have known
because I’m a complete screw-up—but that error on Claude’s forehead has been
removed, so we are back to ten differences
…..
llllll
yes! there really was a heart!
Thanks for the solution! I just couldn’t see it!!!!
Yes, thanks. I was looking for a big heart.

Y’all put on a dress, go outside and eat some frozen white chocolate Oreo cookie cheesecake. (((((HUGS FOR ALL!)))))
good morning, podner!
Thank you   Nighthawks!!!
And now, a now favourite songstress of mine…I have no idea what her drummer is on, but I want some.
She sings well, but I think Meghan Trainor’s body-affirming video is more likable.
I ran into the original “All About That Base” with Meghan Trainor when I heard Adriana Vlad sing the “Barbie doll” line and realized the song wasn’t actually from the thirties or forties as I originally thought because of the arrangement and went looking for the lyrics and publishing date.

I suspect she ran into the Romanian censorship board (if such exists) as well. She tamed things down a bit.
Youtube followed up with another favorite:
I have no ill will toward her, but Shakira’s genre of music isn’t for me.
I got all 10!!!! WooHoo! The last one, of course, took the longest. But it was lots of fun!
…and now for #11…
Nine, they hate me! I guess I should have looked closer outside of the picture! Funny thing, I looked at that and was trying to see if the style or color was different and completely missed the obvious! I’m in a rut!
now that’s a pretty good price!
Ten! Yippee!!!
