The orange blob between the French and Czech/Austrian borders appears to be somewhere in the vicinity of Munich. The snip is from a distribution map of the Eurasian Hoopoe’s habitat, so I was wondering if you actually have them there.
9 to 12 breeding Wiedehopf couples in Bavaria – and those are in Upper and Middle Franconia (not quite in the vicinity of Munich), 800 to 950 in Germany according to Landesbund für Vogelschutz: lbv.de

Long ago I searched my 1900’s Fanny Farmer cookbook for “pancakes” or “flapjacks.” Finally found them under “griddlecakes…”
Looks good.
I love the Eagles “Take it Easy”… though I came to it late cos I didn’t listen to them in the 70’s.
I suppose some people will think it ought t be on my list of songs with lyrics by jerks…
