Hey, when people pay a lot of money to go look at nature, it’s kind of disappointing if it’s been left all… you know, natural.
I mean, they could at least clean it up, and train the animals… Maybe have some buffalo rides or something.
And sell those little paper cones of food, like at the petting zoo, so you’d have something healthy for the bears, and not have to feed them your popcorn and stuff.
We’ve taken the panorama trail down from Glacier Point to Yosemite Valley a couple of times. Saw some grizzlies one time, but they have learned to avoid people. Still gives you the willies. A beautiful 8+ mile hike, but a bit strenuous. I’m not going to try it again, I always have trouble with sore legs for a day or two afterwards.
Been to Yellowstone, seen the bears. And wolves, bison, eagles, sheep, coyotes, elk, deer, etc. Got the photos too. We’ve also seen bears in Great Smoky Mountains park, Yosemite, and others. My favorite was a grizzly named Blondie in the Grand Tetons area.
It’s very old news, but years ago there was a letter to the editor of some local paper complaining about the name of the town Fishkill, in NY state. The writer felt that the name encouraged the demise of the native water-dwelling wildlife. They failed to appreciate the fact that the area was once colonized by the Dutch, and “kill” is the Dutch word for stream or river.
See, Puzzle Pals? Just as I promised, another puzzle for tonight!
Okay, it wasn’t really me who promised… I was just relaying what Nighthawks said. But I had faith.
So if you did the one that was posted Thursday… and if you didn’t, go do it! … this is a lucky double puzzle week! Those don’t come along very often, you know.

Meanwhile, a basset hound who orders pizza with extra kibble, if she doesn’t care for her vet-approved dinner, and downs bags of chips and popcorn while sitting on the couch watching TV, doesn’t live the life of an ordinary dog.
Dog doors are built for dogs who eat low calorie senior kibble, chase Frisbees, and play hard at the dog park.
I think she’s meant to use the same door as Clara and Claude, not expect miracles from the pet supply store.
…
I can’t solve her little weight problem…. But I think I solved the differences problem.
After you find nine, as well…. Or whenever you feel the need…
I wonder whether he’s old… His eyes look soft, instead of piercing, and fierce.
Looks like a Bald Eagle, so has to be less than five years old. (When the white head develops)
Maybe that’s when the fierce hunting expression develops too.
.
Looks like Happy’s country!
It does!
Didn’t know goats could leave vapor trails!
Um…. maybe we shouldn’t embarrass him.
It’s hard to find food up there… Maybe he ate a pile of cabbage. Or a can of beans.
JATO!
,,
Wow, a true gallop!
He’s ready for the Preakness tomorrow.
“Stick with me, kid. We’re goin’ places!”
,.
I’m a little hazy on the details, but it looks like a cityscape.
Still not a bad as the lady who wanted them to move the “Deer Crossing” signs to places that were safer for the deer to cross…

Does it need a spoiler?
Montana Lady’s favorite movie BTW…
Love it.
In which they (sort of) sing!
For some reason, this looks like the Madame Tussaud’s version.
Not that there was one… just that they don’t look real, even though I’m sure they are.
If it’s true, that’s very sweet.
Did she go into remission and continue growing? Is she still alive?
These eyes you cannot resist!
I always skipped over these on the IQ tests. It’s how I got high scores!
You can do these two … I’m sure.
Especially the second one.
Yeah, I usually took a quick look so I didn’t look like a total boob for missing an easy one…
The answer to the first one is “Hike!”
These are easy.

Didn’t I see this banner hanging on the USDA Building?
?
Looks like a certain self-important politician. (I know, no politics…)
Got ’em all!
Me too.
Same here.

Check your solution against mine…
Got them.
I not only found all nine, but in under a minute! It normally takes me a lot longer, if I get all of them at all.
Claude is stylin’, with his white collar and white belt! Just in time for Memorial Day weekend.
And Cleo could stand to go on a diet.
Travel Times.
Is it just me or do Claude’s hairs look a bit horn-like today?
I see what you mean. One question: Does this imply that Claude is horny?
