When I searched this picture, I found out it’s from a newspaper story…

He spent 2 years in a Colorado shelter before someone adopted him.

That goes beyond wasteful packaging to deceptive packaging.
There are laws against that. I doubt that there are any inspectors to enforce the laws any more.

It’s not so much about inspectors… In most countries, companies comply, or retailers and consumers either turn them in or won’t buy the products.

But this kind of thing is usually a cheap import, from someplace without those laws, and sold at stores like Big Lots and Family Dollar.

Notice the unknown brand, and the package says “mix flavour chocolates” with no other info.

I bought some mint chocolates, 90% off after Christmas, 69c instead of $6.99, just to see what they were like, though they were made in Turkey.

Not this bad .. there were a few outside the circular window but not in the corners.

They did contain some iffy chemicals…

Then I read that Turkey gets more food shipments rejected than China. Luckily, more agricultural products than candy.

But those inspectors really are in short supply. Something like 90% of imported food escapes inspection.

A whole lot of Owies there. Probably take a while to heal, even if there’s no surgical intervention required. Titanium is your friend.

AI. I can’t conceive of any injury that would push your thumb joint into line with your fingers. They all look off to me, but the first one in the third row is unquestionably fake.

My late sister had the last one happen after a fall on roller skates. Broke both bones close to the wrist. Not quite as pronounced, but close. The muscles in the arm will pull the hand back into that position if both bones get broken.

Her name was Argyros…

She was a monk seal, friendly to humans, and used to come to this chair on the beach, on the Greek island of Samos, to lie in the sun.

There were signs reserving it for her, and asking people not to pet or tease her. Tourists loved to take pictures of her.

I also see them as an older couple… She’s wearing a sort of a veil… but i still see it as, maybe not a wedding, but they’re very dressed up for an event.

The Venusian ambassador and his wife at a New Year’s reception?

We’ve seen this before…. Gonna go look it up… BRB…

Okay, that didn’t take long, did it?

It’s called “Meet The Aliens: Xantara and Nykara”, and it’s part of a series of jigsaw puzzles, some with other couples, and all with stories about their planet.

“Which way did he go, George?”
The best part is the duck surfacing briefly right behind the utterly oblivious tiger.

I thought that was the duck, but it’s hard to believe he’d swim so dangerously close to a predator.

Now I’m thinking it’s actually the black tip of the tiger’s tail… which he’s lashing in frustration.

I found what looks to me like a panda… it could look like a stuffed toy one, I guess, but I only see one.

I also see some creepy AI type extra heads and assorted impossible to define maybe living things, or maybe not. Yuck!

@MCTS… I haven’t clicked your spoiler, cos I uploaded mine and yours appeared just when I came back to post it. Curious to see if we found the same thing cos mine doesn’t look like a dog to me.

Also Liverlips, cos I can’t see a bunny in it, either.

Are we all looking at the same thing, or different ones?

Anybody?

That was one of my two stuffed panda toy possibilities.
The “bunny” I saw is near the top right corner, maybe an inch in from the side and 1.5 inches down from the top. Kind of a large dark form with what appears to me like two long ears sticking up.

I see that… almost like a chocolate Easter Bunny.

Dunno what it really is, but there’s an extra loop over its “head” that breaks up the image, to me.

Can’t find another “toy panda”….

But not quite halfway up, and maybe 4 or 5 heads in from the left edge, I see a tiny, vague Mickey Mouse. Maybe a Mickey mouse sweatshirt someone was wearing but it got cut off in the collage.

Gastropods, which are mollusks.

Crustaceans have jointed legs, like crabs.

That’s for falling… But the object of harnesses is not to fall!

I don’t want to see them falling 10 feet either…. though some people can do that safely…. or 25.
