Says basset mama to basset daughter:
“Now, here’s a young man who looks to be from a good family, with good prospects. He seems to have a lot going on. Go sniff his butt. Talk to him.”

After looking at it several times i have decided that i like it.
The art is well balanced, and very well inked.

Considering that this is 2 1/2 out of 100… I’d say that’s an understatement.

Yeah… they wanted her for the role, but she said no… and then they finally gave up on three breasts when Martina Sirtis refused to grow an extra one.

Actually I believe that third thing is that the network wanted a Christian pastor on board, presumably to perform duties like marriages and funerals … and of course convert the space savages they encountered.

Funny they’re illustrating this with Leonard Nimoy who presumably was against it, being observantly Jewish.

Maybe he and Roddenberry, who was quite publicly opposed to organized religion, are having a laugh about it.

I thought the Impala didn’t show up until model year 1958, being introduced in late 1957.

And while I acknowledge the photos are grainy, the names on the tailfin and the glove box to me more resemble BelAir in script than Impala in script.

What I found.

I’m absolutely no car expert, but I know the 57 Bel Air quite well, and that is one.

Plus the Impala had those weird (to me) slanted tail fins.

By 1959 or 60 they almost touched, looking like a big shallowV from the back.

It was a sportier car than a Bel Air.

….

Funny thing… Our neighbor in the early 1960s, in Wisconsin, and also, a neighbor of mine for the last umpteen years here in California, both drive or drove a white 1960 Impala convertible.

Hers was shiny and new with a red leather interior… a birthday gift from her indulgent husband.

His is a bit worse for wear, being 60-plus years old and not completely restored…. and driven by him for at least the past 25 or 30 years.

I remember being surprised when I saw it… Like it stepped out of my past.

I know the name, I’m sure I’ve seen some of his work, but there is nothing about him to make him stand out to me. I wouldn’t know that face if it was shown with his name blazed across it in big red letter.

Thank you for the answer.

Yup… I recognize that face in the first picture… Probably in high school?

Liverlips has identified him.

There is a no nonsense, “what are you up to?” look.
Is that Berlin, as in Deutschland, or as in any number of small towns in the USA?

Considering the US flag on the shoulder patch, I’d say it’s in the United States.

Plus German police is called Polizei.

Just ask the owner first.
I remember security at Incheon International Airport (Seoul; South Korea) a couple of years ago – their working dogs were German shepherds, but really friendly!

This photo is of Aimee Krykowski (the human police officer)and K9 officer Casner of the Berlin, Connecticut police department.
She is a breast cancer survivor, and her troubles became a local story of overcoming adversity that grew.
I found this video of officer Krykowski driving the winning bidder of a silent auction to fund breast cancer research, Ciara, to school.
The sound on this Facebook post is there, but you’ll have to fiddle with the on/off button.

Part of me is wondering if Claude put Cleo up to that so he could get out of mowing.
“Squirrel sensitive” is a bit too hair-trigger for me.
