This bird looks as if it means business. Strictly business.

I’m betting it’s a symbiotic relationship wherein the birds pick and eat biting insects or parasites off Hortensia the Hippo’s hide skin.

A party with Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland. Think they had any alcohol at that party?

Not till after the Look photographers, press agents and studio representatives left.

Do you know what brand this is? The logo – or label – is not familiar to me.

Not surprising it’s unfamiliar.
It appears to be almost 100 years old and British.

Maybe a brand, but maybe some organization, like, say, “The UK Gin Distillery Board” which I just made up.

There was always an “old way” to do things, thought to be superior to the new-fangled way, even in 1928.

Probably even in 1728.

I would like to ask for a clarification first, notwithstanding that mr_sherman has already found it. Is this a literal hot dog, or a figurative hot dog? And if literal, is it a canine who is extremely warm, or a tube steak?

I think I see it, but it is not particularly distinctive,

As far as I can tell, it’s a literal hot dog, aka tube steak.

Small and not very noticeable or noteworthy, or even well drawn… But since other people also found it, I guess it is one.

I think it’s…
About halfway up (or down) and a little ways in from the left hand edge.

An animal… Lion Cub? Bear?… is holding up a coffee cup right behind and almost over it.

Found it! But I just had hotdogs the other day, so they were still fresh in my mind. And it looks very much like a hot dog.

Most people yell at their dogs not to beg at the table.

With Cleo, it would only be a step in the right direction.

Well, that is, I guess, if you really want Cleo to be like other dogs.

But remember, Claude…. we wouldn’t all be here if she were.

You’d have to give up your career in the comics and all those zeros on your paycheck from Cleo and Company Productions.

You know, I’ve been thinking… (yes I do, at least sometimes)…

It’s kind of off topic, but I was thinking all those checks from C&C (like mine, too) might go a little farther at the grocery store if there were something in front of all those zeros.

I mean, like a number that wasn’t zero.

Good luck! It would be well deserved, but I doubt it will happen.
And, Cleo hardly looks likes she’s starving. And what was she laid off from??

We.l..l… I dunno.

I don’t see any actual weight to that boom, beyond another “Confound it, Cleo!”
