A new shade of Lab?

I think she’s probably a chocolate lab, in poor lighting.

I do see a brown tinge to the grey.

Only for at most half of us…

And even some of the other half might fall to the powerful pull of chocolate.

Chocolate for me! But this is funny. Especially the way the kid is eyeing that cookie!

Well, you’re in the half of us I thought would have no interest in the breast, anyway. 😉

Why choose? Milk and cookies is the best combo!

I don’t keep abreast of comic strip schedules, but between the Funky Town video and this I have to ask… is it sweeps week?

Here’s the full 9 and a half minute documentary.
The “The New Yorker” magazine is involved.

Find the butterfly amongst the sunflowers.
Seriously.

Edited in at 07:35 hrs. E.D.T.

Here’s the official solution.
P. S.:   nighthawks had had one too many Hungarian Hats (or was it Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters?) and so didn’t put the ‘Find the…’ question in his initial posting. That’s the why of the above.
P.P.S.:   I found the answer at the site where the question is so I didn’t play this one.

Still hard to find. I figured it was under the white circle with the magnifying glass.

Not tonight. Double blurred vision isn’t helpful in these kinda games. 😀

The old Hungarian Hat recipe, huh? At least I could hope that’s the only cause for double blurred vision. {^¿^}

It’s that a drink?

Google doesn’t seem to have heard of it, as a drink or as an expression.

I just get… you know… pictures of Hungarian hats… ie… hats. From Hungary.

I was ready to give up when I thought I found it.

Here?
Near the top left corner between two sunflowers.

Maybe… ok probably…. but

I see two places you could mean, one tiny (maybe)butterfly very near the corner, made of two petals….

The other involving the right hand flower of those two and the one below it, an only slightly bigger (possible) butterfly made of four petals.

I think the 4 petal one is probably it…
Maybe.

More so than anything else I can find.

But even that one is hardly butterfly-enough-looking IMHO to justify the search.

I’d say

that might be because…
It hardly looks like a butterfly.

More like a very simple four-petaled flower.

I posted before Alexi added the picture of the solution to his post… did you look at that?

His “tag” is so long it’s easy to forget to actually click on it, to open the spoiler box.

Love this week’s edition of lovers!

The alien might have just found someone who lights up his life.

The bat seems all wrapped up in his new girlfriend…

She’s a bit plain, and she can’t fly.

I don’t see that they have a lot in common, but she says opposites attract, and you know, she has a point.

….

As for the buck’s new flame…. oops, bad choice of words in this case… she’s awfully thin and kind of wooden, but I know he thinks she’s attractive.

I blush to tell you what I overheard.

But… well… ahem… when he saw her, he whispered to his friend “wow….nice rack.”

As with many human-type holidays, today’s Mexican celebration has changed radically.
Read the    🙂    ‘true’    🙂    story in the spoiler box.

A little known fact is that back in 1912, Hellmann’s mayonnaise was manufactured in
England. In fact, the Titanic was carrying 12,000 jars of the condiment scheduled for delivery
in Vera Cruz, Mexico, which was to be the next port of call for the great ship after its stop in
New York. This would have been the largest single shipment of mayonnaise ever delivered to
Mexico. But as we know, the great ship did not make it to New York.

The ship hit an iceberg and sank and the cargo was forever lost. The people of Mexico, who
were crazy about mayonnaise and were eagerly awaiting its delivery, were disconsolate at the
loss. Their anguish was so great that they declared a National Day of Mourning, which they
still observe to this day.

The National Day of Mourning occurs each year on May 5 and is known, of course, as Sinko
de Mayo.

Apropos of nothing:
I’ve just watched the first 9 1/2 minutes of “Silo” episode one.
I had heard many advertisements and a couple of reviews and my curiosity was piqued.
One can only hope the book, which I have on hold at the library, makes more sense.
That said, the acting is excellent (you can tell immediately about things like that as you know), but the sets and props need some explanation; there are glaring anomalies existing in a place where enough time has passed that the occupants have forgotten who built it and why (simple one: where does the ink for a fountain pen come from?). I’ll go back and finish watching later on, but as I said, I hope the book makes more sense.
