Very sad… this is a poster for Buddy Holly’s last performance, the night before the plane crash that took his life, and that of The Big Bopper (JP Richardson), and Richie Valens, who was only 17.
The OK Corral was (and is now recreated) in Tombstone, Arizona, not some nameless “historical town.”
The buildings there, and in other old towns, are side by side, huddled together for physical support and for protection. The streets are narrow.
The whole town has been rebuilt, recreated, and turned into a busy tourist trap… um… destination, with tours of Boot Hill, saloons, and probably hotels, though I don’t know for sure.
Some old friends went there years ago, actually before I knew them, and came back with a sepia printed photo of themselves, in bits of Western costume provided by the photographer, that last time I was there still hung in their living room. I know, but of course would never mention, that you can get the same thing in a booth at the county fair.
Anyway… I did a quick image search… some people say it’s a movie set.
I don’t think so, cos Western sets are usually compact, not spread out, and because they look more real than this.
A couple of commenters said what I think… that it’s AI.
Otherwise what the heck is that weird pointy structure, like a wall but not a building, blocking the street?
It looks like some AI program tried to give it a sign that says something almost (but not quite) like “OK Corral”, or more like “OL l Coral.”
They’re also just stopped in the middle of this imaginary broad street, with no horses attached.
I can’t figure out what that thing is between the first building on the left and the first “parked” wagon…
Looks like a 10-foot pile of wooden rubble with what might be a broken wagon on top.
Speaking of things that are 10 feet tall… There’s the silhouette of what looks like a 10 foot tall man in the distance, in the street to the left of the larger building facing us.
Um, yeah… and people are supposed to trust AI to write important legal documents and read X-rays.
He looks a bit like a cross between Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman…
But the only things I can say for sure is that he’s not John Wayne.
Or if by some coincidence his name is John Wayne, or even Marion Morrison, he’s not THE John Wayne.
It much. It’s a water quality site with a whole host of sensors. They had an extra camera so they decided to put in a live cam. Most likely the only thing that you might see would be a stray crab or a small fish. If you go to the Hatfield you can move the camera and turn on a light.
Also, Cleo is nothing like an obedient dog.
And there’s nothing like Cleo.
And apparently, nothing Clara and Claude can do about it.
Especially, nothing parentally.
If there’s any training done around there, it’s Cleo training her “parents” what not to expect…. though they’ve probably already learned most of it.
Still, they do have a unique, talented, movie star and weapons specialist for a… pet? Pet, companion, roommate, boss… it’s all semantics, right?
From Cleo’s perspective, I’m sure you can call her whatever you like, as long as it puts the kibble in the bowl.
Yeah yeah… and gets her a few pizzas and missiles.
Meanwhile…. from your perspective….
You should see nine differences between the two panels.

If I think “everybody knows”, so I don’t say it, someone will ask.
OTOH… if I do post it, eveybody will roll their eyes, cos they already know.
So .. I will err on the side of possible helpfulness…

LOL… I don’t want to say there was any trickery going on…
But you do have to love her drink bottle rolling “up” the wall.

No….. sigh….

The ‘wagons’ and the ground streetside of them looks off as well.
Looking at it in the light of day….

And do I see a bull and a sheep tied up to the hitching posts?
Some kind of non-equine animals, anyway.
Mongo must be in town.
How about a “corral” with no place for a corral behind it.
Yes… That’s the wall with no building that I meant.
But if you look to the left and a little behind it, there are “buildings” with no roofs or maybe walls.
So it’s the “A.I. Corral?”

Who is John Wayne #2, really?
Google doesn’t seem to know.
He looks a bit like a cross between Robert DeNiro and Dustin Hoffman…
But the only things I can say for sure is that he’s not John Wayne.

Who appears to be named ‘Marion Pobert Morison’
as in banana-fana p-popert ?
Michael Keaton…

Michael Keaton, for the “other” John Wayne?
Batman, BeetleJuice … that Michael Keaton?
Sorry…. he’s way younger than all those actors, which I guess might make no difference if it’s a mistake…
And I know we all see faces differently… but……
From the site I’ve provided the link to:

I had one of these as a house guest once. He needed weekend care while the regular animal staff were at a conference. A most charming guest!
