@ Everybody

To get the most out of this, read the Wikipedia quote below, then watch the “Rowan and Martin” sketch.
I was going to start it at the 1:40 mark, but I think it’ll be better if you let it sneak up on you.
Spooky or what?

Ronald Wilson Reagan was an American politician who served as the 40th president of the United States from 1981 to 1989. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 33rd governor of California from 1967 to 1975 after a career as a Hollywood actor and union leader. Wikipedia

Are we going to get a blackout or a sweater?

The Tutu (or Threethree with inflation)
Right side bottom. Watermelons touching the right side. Count 4 up. Drop back down to the space below watermelon four. that is space one. Go directly left to space two, cross the slice of watermelon at its left end, and there you are.

© Lisa Luckenbach, 2021 National Wildlife® Photo Contest

Mobile, first place: Lisa Luckenbach, Ojai, California

According to NWF: While hiking with her dogs one morning on Bates Beach in central California, Lisa Luckenbach glanced down at a tide pool and spotted a sea anemone “that stuck out like a jewel.” Struck by the colorful crust of pebbles, Luckenbach used her mobile phone to capture the magic.

“Nature is art, and art is nature,” she said. “Up close, it looks like the eye of a lizard—and also the whole cosmos.”

I wasn’t sure what NWF stood for so I went looking. The organization’s logo below is a direct link to its founding history.

It does look like a lizard’s eye, doesn’t it?

Sorry.. my internet went down, just when I wanted to get here earlier with this announcement:

I’m hoping you’ll all join us today, in saying

Happy Birthday to Saucy!

I’ll be back in a little bit with the cake…

You’re not alone…

Much as I aspire to perfection, I can’t always get an email out when I want to, for various reasons….

among them that the window of time to compose and send it is very short, and that I’m having internet problems.

I didn’t really want to mention it.

Hah! You see, Cleo always saves the day, being the smartest of the Cliffords.

I want to see them “boosting” themselves up there… they’re not exactly athletes, and that thing looks to be about 12 feet high.

Do you think they can climb the sentences, like a ladder?

I dunno why her speech balloon sprung a leak… there weren’t any sharp words exchanged.

..

I guess I’m glad I make so many comments here, if they turn into word balloons in the Cleoverse.

I’ve got a lot of hot air to ride away on, should the need arise.

Some of you more taciturn types should be very nice to me, in case there’s ever an emergency, and you need a ride home.

I thought it was because Cleo wasn’t nice to Clara, and didn’t get her Pawacure in time for their adventure.

LOVED this adventure.

I could not resist.

From:

My Mother’s Cookbook

Saucy Sauce (for hamburgers)

1 cup tomato catsup
1 crushed clove garlic
1 teaspoon onion juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 or 5 drops hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon celery salt

Brush on warm hamburgers, after first combing all ingredients, and warm on edge of grill — or in the oven.**

**Written for family, not commercial publication.
1  Combine the sauce ingredients.
2  Warm the sauce on the grill or in the oven.
3  Brush the sauce on cooked hamburgers, fresh off the grill.

Note from me:

Catsup was originally used as the spelling, Del Monte used in for a time.

Added at 10:24 hrs. E.S.T. today’s date (Since apparently somebody got “wooshed” at 08:59 hrs.).

I’ve not done this, but I’ve cooked long and often enough to know it’s accurate.

My newest favorite birthday song from the waitress where my son said not to sing Happy Birthday to him. She said, “No worries, I won’t.” as she placed the mini cake in front of him and started clapping her hands…

This is your birthday song

It isn’t very long

HEY!

Have a perfect day. (((((HuGz!)))))
