Reserved for blind people? If they had Vin Scully announcing, they’d see it better than the people with 20/20 vision! His replacements aren’t too bad, either.
Those were real – but were abandoned soon enough as the blind people pointed out that their seeing-eye company needed to describe to them what was going on in the game!
What’s especially strange is that there’s a fence on either side of this section…. as though to prevent an uprising once the unfortunate ticketholders were herded inside.
No mass exodus, no surreptitious sliding over into unoccupied seats in the next section.
Maybe these are the “free seats” you win with that lucky Coke bottle cap or bag of Doritos.
…
Meanwhile… I keep staring at that 3rd seat from us in the first row.
Can anybody figure out why it seems to have both a folded up and a lowered seat at the same time?
I’m calling PhotoShop on this. That wide brick wall is made of one L O O O O N G brick per row… I don’t think so. Either the wall was added in it’s entirety, or a relatively narrow column was stretched.
From the photographic angle, it would look like one long brick because of the surface of the bricks being uneven like that. It is very hard to discern the ending of one brick and the beginning of the next because of the irregularities of the surface. It looks like that in real life too, because I’ve seen it.
The description in the spoiler comes from Christies online auction site.

I found the movie “Wicked” online.
I got nine, count ’em nine, minutes in (and that includes the studio/production company credits) and shut it down.
It is a PIECE OF DREK ! ! !
There is not a whit of fairy tale in it.
I got the feeling that if they thought they could have gotten away with it they’d have made it as soft core porn (I’m not kidding).
I was actually looking forward to another interpretation of L. Frank Baum’s characters, but this takes it so far from Baum’s original characters that nine minutes was all I could take.
I know nothing about the play, or the movie. I read the book. It’s not Baum. It’s not meant to be. It’s a retelling from a different perspective. Lot’s of SF and Fantasy writers love reimagining the classics.
One of my favorite SF writers had is caricatures in one story visit Ozz.
Not a safe place if you are a bad guy or an adult.
Paul Simon’s “The Sound of Silence” by the German chorus “Gregorian Pure Chants.” One of my favourite songs since I first heard it on 1010 WINS New York in 1964.
This year, by my choice, it’s just me, Kiki, Buddy, and the Dinosaurs. I could have joined a group but my heart just isn’t in it tis year.
I have some good quality roasted turkey breast and some better jared gravy. Im going to do a hot open faced turkey sandwich (even got a nice french loaf to slice) with mashed potatoes and fried green beans.
Sweet Potato pie for dessert.
For you, Les, it has been a trying year, to say the least.
And sometimes being alone isn’t such a “bad thing”.
It gives you time to think.
And allows you to put things into perspective.
Tis’ the message for today and for all of the tomorrows.

“I’m crushing your head!”
Mama (?) looks so sweet and indulgent.
Lab puppy. Everything goes in it’s mouth! 😀

Another member of the younger generation trying to take over. Patience, grasshopper. Your own world of troubles awaits. Don’t rush it.
..
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this…”
Hey, guess what?
Ooh…. you’re never gonna guess what!
Can you believe…
Honest!
…
Yup.
the episode called “The Invaders”
I would not have recognized the performer on my own. But now that you ID her, I can see it.
The best one ever!
If you have never seen it you have got to look it up and watch it.
Agnes proves just how fantastic of an actress she was.
Love this episode. Time to break out the Complete Series on DVD
Obstructed view seating, aka the cheap seats.

The seat that is down is the seat one further away. Perfect alignment to make it look like your seat has two seats. 😀

Looks like granite to me.

I don’t recall automatic weapons in that movie…
I don’t recall automatic weapons in the book; I never saw the movie.
I still want to know the story behind the photo
.. but… sigh…. I know that wasn’t the question.
Little Shop of Horrors, obviously///
Weird… It loaded for me with the poster showing.
I don’t know whether you added a spoiler box since then, or it somehow loaded with the box open until I refreshed.
WordPress is loco.
I copied the link from the original site and tried if it works in a new tab first. And checked again after uploading it.
The link worked fine.
It was the spoiler box that didn’t work the first time.
I could see the poster without clicking on anything.
When I refreshed, it was in a spoiler box, and I had to click to see it.
I read the book; it’s depressing. I didn’t know there was a movie until much later and had no desire to see it.
I read the book when I was too young and impressionable to be reading such things.
I think I was 12.
Not a great idea!
I did actually like it, in a lot of ways, but its vision of the future terrified me.
….
Funny, the library and teachers and various citizens groups go all to pieces at the thought of a 12 year old reading something a wee bit racy…
But nobody said a thing to warn me about reading a bleak story of nuclear destruction.

Do the eyes swing to-and-fro in time with the pendulum tail?
But where are the 10 differences?
“If you ain’t the lead dog, the scenery never changes.”
What’s with the blue light?
I’m assuming blue light…. I suppose it could be rare blue-spotted basset hounds.
dunno
I’m in favor of the “rare blue-spotted” theory.

Some sort of AI construction?
Or a sculpture
Yes… that’s kind of what I meant…
But we’ve seen several sculptures constricted of large quantities of soda bottles, feathers, or some such, and they turned out to be AI.
“Ever ” is a long time. How many were built on coral and didn’t survive?
can you find the pilgrim hat?
Just where the shoulder of the bottle begins look just to the right of the highest portion of the leaf.
Got it!
Found it!
This one is pretty well hidden.
,.
Cute, isn’t he?
Um…. well…
I think I prefer the butterfly stage.
Unless he’s a flour or wool eating moth… In which case just no.
Attacus atlas. Should have gone with my instincts, but had to Google it to be sure! Must be getting old!

Same here.
That Glenda is an entitled b***h. And not the nice, gentle kind like our Cleo!

Wow!
If you like this kind of singing, give a listen to Chanticleer. They are an all-male a cappella chorus from the San Francisco bay area.
Chanticleer is great!
KEWL!
Cleo, you rebel. The phrase “what you are most thankful for” implies one thing. Not a catalog of weapons at your disposal.
Maybe Cleo’s one thing is “all the weapons at my disposal.”
😁
Declawing cats is animal abuse.
That’s all I’m saying on the matter.
So are running down cats with a car…. and dynamiting innocent squirrels.
Cleo loves animal abuse…. as long as none of the animals are Cleo Clifford.
I hope that’s a delayed broadcast of the parade…
Otherwise they’re having dinner at 8am.
But wait…. if a family of basset hounds owns a turkey, they probably see no reason not to eat it as soon as they get up…
So maybe they just barely managed to wait long enough to cook it.
For hounds, that’s showing admirable restraint.
It’s that time….
thanks! I appreciate that
Thank you.
♥Thank You♥
Lovely. I’m sure Stel Bel approves, especially the sparklies.
Today’s Google Doodle fits the theme….
