I loved doing the “Find-it” in Highlights magazine as a kid. They provided pictures of what each thing would look like. I may have found the geyser, I may have found geysers, or I may not have found any.
Well…. I feel almost-but-not-quite in the same boat…
I found something… It doesn’t quite look like Old Faithful but It could be a geyser…
And I don’t see anything MORE geyserish…
so maybe….
This is it?
I can’t tell for sure which puffy shapes are geyser steam… IF that’s what they are at all… and which are part of the trees.
….
As for having a picture of what to look for….
I guess it depends on what kind of puzzle you like.
A picture would make it much easier…
Maybe too easy?
It changes it from a “Find the object” game into a “Find the matching picture” game.
You wouldn’t even need to know what the picture was supposed to be… just find this little picture inside the big picture.
…
Children might not know what a.geyser is, or what a scooter looks like, etc, but they can match one picture with another.
We had that, and needed it, on one we did a few weeks ago(?) with about 7 things that were not particularly well drawn, and so simple they were easily hidden in the picture.
But most of the time I think it might be too simple.
The break-up of Yugoslavia shattered my illusion that we were getting better. How could neighbors, who had lived 50 with each other suddenly start killing each other over where their ancestors came from?
This has pretty much got to be staged, but it’s still amusing (shutting off your sound is recommended)..

Oh, boy! Now we start with the origin story of Perro! This is going to be epic. Lots of swashes will be buckled, damsels removed from distress, and evildoers vanquished.
Cool… That’s gotta be “the panhandle”… a narrow bit of green extending eastward from Golden Gate Park.
I think it’s one block wide… on the north, beautiful old houses, in San Francisco style, several stories tall but with no space in between.
Just to the south, a lot of the houses were cut up into apartments, and in a block of two it becomes the famous (or infamous, depending on your point of view) Haight Ashbury neighborhood.
A lot of bands did free concerts there… I don’t think I was at this one, but I did see some others.
Hendrix must have been in his mid twenties here… I know that, sadly, he was one of the first of the so called “27 club.”
.
It’ll all work out. Don’t sweat it.
I hope so.

Is he walking on the water?
I was wondering the same.

That wig qualifies as a whole other pet.
..,.
How dare they compile this list with John Hart wearing Clayton Moore’s mask?
I’d heard of him, but not in this role.
Apparently, he was a one-season replacement for Moore… the one who belongs in this illustrious …ok, varied… company.
….
I was going to say it would be more fun without the names…
But I never would have guessed all of them…. And especially John Hart.
And where is Jay Silverheels.
And Lorne Greene?

I like Fluffy’s sense of humor.
Fluffy the alligator?
No, no, the alligator’s name is Plushie.
…
That looks painful… (and I have no idea what they are doing.)
Probably a Conga line.
Starting a bivouac?
They must have watched that Youtube on Army Ants…
find the one-eyed jack
Um… Nighthawks…
You…uh…. might want to rethink this post😁.
I did find it, though!
I never thought I’d find Nighthawks, of all people, posting revealing pictures on the Internet! 🤭
oops! ok, here’s another

I feel like Schrodinger’s cat. Until someone posts the solution, I both found and not found the geyser.

I agree with your find.
I agree with your geyser.
As far as knowing or not knowing what the named object looks like, some of the “artist” seem to lack that knowledge.
are we talking about an old man or an on-demand water heater?
Yes.
That many?
They probably didn’t look in every corner…
I gave up hope long ago.

We cannot underestimate the intelligence of Man. We cannot overestimate his capacity for cruelty.

Perro™ is back! Perro™ is back!
That’s why he was hanging around!
Yay!
Oh…. Shhh… Don’t say a word….🤫… you didn’t hear that from me.
I meant to say Don Doggo is back, of course.
The talented, scholarly scion of the well to do familia De Basset … an expert swordsman, well mannered, and as you can see, extremely modest.
I know nothing of his other… um… well, of anything else.
But I get the feeling that soon, Perro™ will ride!
Jimi Hendrix, San Francisco, 1967.
