Ok…. maybe this is posed, or maybe an actual encounter.
I was going to cry fake … not AI, but just made up for the camera. But then I noticed that his feet are on the ground.
He’s not trying to ride blindly. He’s standing on the other side of the pile, where his vision is unobstructed, and using the bike like a skinny substitute for a wheelbarrow.
It could be real… but he seems to be walking along the shoulder, where the danger is that one bump, one rock, in the path could send all those bricks raining down on him.
….
A couple of days ago I bumped into just one of those thin, open design garden blocks… the kind you can use to edge a flower bed or support shelves… it was sitting on one edge, waiting to be moved, instead of lying flat when not in use, like a smart brick.
It fell over onto my leg, bruising and scraping my shin.
I look at the precarious pile on this bicycle and shudder.
My second year doing the underwater pumpkin carving I for got to put a weight in it. It popped out of my hands and I had to chase after it. Scuba great is great below the surface but really cumbersome on the surface. By the time I caught it, my fingers were getting numb from the cold (Michigan in late August). I was barely able to finish.
The article says this landslide had already happened, when some women challenged an Iranian cleric’s declaration that showing cleavage caused earthquakes.
Not many bare breasts, just low cut tops…. and there WAS an earthquake, but halfway round the world.
Jury still out in re cause and effect…. But I don’t think there are a lot of believers.
Rescue workers at this site were slightly shaken by the quake.
Posing for Auguste Rodin.
Don’t tell me that there isn’t a person in there.
Listen to the James Taylor song above and just gaze at the photo.
Fits well.
Why do I hear “The Ride of the Valkyries?”
I’m game. Cause there’s an itinerant opera company passing by your house?
well, can you smell Napalm in the morning?
Nope, it’s the smell of victory…
this can’t end well…
At least he isn’t a few bricks short of a load!

Thank goodness nothing broke. I guess you’re still a spry, bouncing, ball of sunshine. ☺
Somehow I’m hearing “The Pumpkins Are Coming” in the background,
“And Ichabod Crane was never seen again…”
How do you suppose they cross the river in pumpkin harvest season?
“…we all float down here…”

,
The Taxi from Hell? At least AI got that right…
on set, North by Northwest
Ah! I was wondering!
So they recreated bits of it to climb on.
I wonder how many slices.
I always figured the nose was a set… cos they couldn’t have been climbing on it for real.
Even if they wanted to(which I’m sure they didn’t) the insurance companies involved would have forbidden it.
I like the high-tech safety gear; old mattresses on the floor.
in Taiwan
And we thought getting somewhere in Los Angeles was tough!
The jungle sure grows fast out there…
That is humungous! Wow!
I want to see the “before” pics.
And the “after after”…. which is to say, what happened after this?
THE LONDON “DAILY MAIL” ON THIS FROM APRIL OF 2010 / IT MAY HAVE BEEN CAUSED BY BARE BREASTED WOMEN

I have yet to see one in the wild, but they are out there.
Aside from the obvious problem… I.wish this picture were clear enough to read all the signs, and the note (presumably) taped between the doors.
can you find the cat?
Well yeah…. It’s not trying to hide!
I’m surprised that the pigeons don’t seem to care.
One little hint… though you probably won’t need it… is that….
Is drawn a little smaller than a pigeon… so don’t look for a furry creature towering over the birds.
Yeah — and a bunch of not-quite cats too!
I don’t know what those are even supposed to represent.
Got it! And quick!
My next dog, when the place is set up, is going toe a female.
Cos they know what’s good for them.
the title of this is Alien Throne and Milky Way with Bonus Comet
I think it’s just a photoshop, but the Milky Way is real, if not enhanced
So where’s the comet?
Nah… It was supposed to say “comment.”
And you made it.
You use that to clean the counter after the milky way has melted all over it.
The alien throne formation is real. I believe it is in New Mexico.
Heeeeeeeeere’s “Frankie ! !”
Of her four marriages only one lasted longer than a year as a certaincy.
RE: YESTERDAY’S “TURN BACK TIME” VIDEO BY CHER
I looked and looked and looked…
I could not find the original video of Cher in her real at-the-time costume.
Ooh…. Don Doggo is back…
Acting the fool, playing the inocente… he pretends to care not a bit, while inside, his heart burns in a way no Tums™ can assuage.
Is he a peacock? Is he vain?
I have to say yes, posing in his fancy charro suit,
and even bragging quietly to Fernando about his prowess with the sword, and his grand plans to save the silenced and downtrodden.
…
But you know, some dogs deserve their braggadocio…. and I think this will prove to be true of El Doggo, when we see him in action, as Perro™!
Hmmm… Part three, though… and that hasn’t happened.
I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that this won’t be an only 4-part adventure.
…..
I love Fernando’s eye-roll in Panel 3…
A smart dog who nonetheless plays the comic foil… an actor who tries to interject a bit of anachronistic humor.
While the beautiful California desert plays a role in Panel 4…
Somewhere just “outside of Los Angeles” … before it was paved with orange groves or little bungalows or freeways…
Picture that spot today…. facing left, so of course they must be heading West out of LA…
somewhere on Sepulveda… cos to an infrequent visitor, it seems you’re always somewhere on Sepulveda…
Is there anything still standing along that route today, that on careful examination, still shows the faint remains of an incised “P“?
Passengers on Eastern Airlines in 1935.
I’m going to guess Boeing 247.
Nope, DC-2 (hangs head in shame).
Neat! No fighting over aisle seats or window seats!
