So called polar routes fly up and over…. And not necessarily true north.

Not that I guessed right on the youth… I was completely wrong, if some kinds of wrong are wronger than other kinds.

But the adult, whom I barely managed to recognise, because I’ve never seen his movies…

is….

Robert Downey Jr.

Notice that the pupils of the eyes, even before you tape them into their sockets, are at slightly different angles…

At least for the cat and witch, not so sure about the pumpkin 😁

The pupils on the left (for the right eyes) face straight ahead; both left-eye pupils face outward.

That’s a little trick for drawing eyes that seem to follow you.

Doesn’t she look thrilled?

Sorta like my 4 year old niece (now 43) when (the costumed person playing) Mickey Mouse tried to hug her at Disneyland…
Except my niece cried unstoppably.

Today’s Songs:
‘Lucky Man,’ ‘Magic,’ ‘Magic Man,’ and ‘His Latest Flame,’ and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe ‘ Autumn Slaw.’
Of the three bands the members originated from, I only recognized the name ‘Atomic Rooster’; Carl Palmer (If I heard an ‘Atomic Rooster’ song today I couldn’t properly identify it / if I ever could have).
‘Pilot’ originated in Edinburgh in 1973. ‘Magic’ is the only song of theirs I recall.
‘Heart’ is out of Seattle, but Vancouver, B.C. is where they began their rise to their well earned fame.
‘His Latest Flame’ is the official name. I didn’t actually know that until I did the research (there are several YouTube variations of the name, that’s why I went looking).
Looking through the internet, some ‘light’ oils:
canola, peanut, flaxseed, extra virgin olive, almond, avocado, walnut, hemp, (I might have heard of almond oil, but the last three, no).
Next up: 7 recipes involving alligator pears (by some sites it’s apparently a Florida localism even today).

I’m temporaily back to my teenaged computer again. My wife has mine and hers has to get the “Line Input” repaired. It seems weird, but we are going to do a bit of recording for some friends and I didn’t want to purchase another license as I have one for each of our newer computers already.

64 or 32 bit machine? – If the former, I’d install Ubuntu. You may even test it without installing.

64 bit machines. The newer ones are Windows 11. This one is Windows 10.

Try Ubuntu. You may only try it from an external medium or even install it alongside Windows.

Nothing wrong with being behind the couch.

It’s the safest place to be when movie monsters are around.

Cleo’s the only one NOT behind the couch.

Dogs are singularly unimpressed by creatures that have no scent.

Unlike me, they instinctively know not to fear scary images and even spooky-looking stuffed animals.

Tell that to my dog when last summer, I was walking around the hospital grounds and we approached a deer family statue from an angle she had never been before (facing the stag) and she had a fit until she realized it wasn’t moving and I walked up to it and rapped on the metal. She was still anxious until after she slowly crept up to it and took a sniff.
