That doesn’t look like a regular perch for him.
Around here all you need is a good lens.
In Alaska all you need is to have some fish around someplace close and they will come to you.
When I worked at the chocolate factory I had a dream that they started the machine and I was the only packer there (usually, ~5). I did what I could briefly, then just watched the candy going to the end and falling on the floor. I woke up laughing.
Absolutely love those zombie dog drawings. So perfectly done. I would happily adopt one of them and give them a wonderful home. Although….feeding them may get a little, ummm… gross, to say the least. Maybe quite illegal.
Funny you say that. My neighbor actually has a contract with Costco where they sell him pallets of returned vacuums (which are still perfectly functional, just not in their original box) and he resells them for profit. So, I think I can get good deals for these particular zombie dogs.
Today’s Songs:
‘ My Sharona,’ ‘Nashville Cats,’ ‘Nights in White Satin,’ and ‘No Sugar Tonight,’ and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe ‘Avocado Strawberry Salad.’
Their first entry to the charts; Sharona is real (open link below for article).
Formed in Greenwich Village in 1964 (nowhere near the 59th street bridge / but they were groovy).
Written by Justin Hayward at age 19 in Belgium (open link below for article for the title’s origin)
The origin of the title is quite amusing (see Randy Bachman’s explanation in the link below).

He will regret that. A few years of feeding them and you’re gonna have a “sea gull” problem with a bird that can do some damage.
Actually looks like an AI produced image to me, there’s something off with the feathers and the talons don’t look right.
I’m with you on that observation.
Could be. AI humans never seem to have the right number of digits either.
I hadn’t noticed the toes continuing up the shin before. Here is a quick internet search result for bald eagle talon:

I wonder if the second story was a later addition.
So what’s the latest on Candice?
no change–as far as I know she’s still unconscious and intubated.
I will post all info here as soon as I get it
Thank you.
Thank you ♥♥
we’re still offering up prayers and good thoughts!
Thank you for the update. I didn’t realize she is unconscious. All my love..
Love the dachshund and the overly dramatic toy penguin. The dog’s running in and out of frame in every direction reminds me of Peter Sellers.

I can’t watch the video here but was absolutely certain that was it.

you’re too kind…..Vacuum cleaner brains aren’t gross, but they would be a little pricey.

Just put up a bird feeder. The squirrels will come to raid it and the cats will come to eat birds… the dogs can feed themselves.
You know, I like that. It all works out and I can tell myself that I’m just trying to help out the pretty birdies. Good idea!
