There is a face with a lot of character.
He also looks like he’s wearing a bomber jacket.

That’s pure concentration to not step on those ears with every single – you know.

When I first saw the top picture, I thought the wattles under his(?) chin were the bottom jaw of an open mouth, like in a cartoon.

I know dogs don’t actually have that sort of smiles, so I thought someone had drawn in the lower jaw to be funny.

Then I took another look. 🙄

I think this is the same one we saw that someone pointed out was AI.

I’m not sure, but it’s probably true.

There’s no destination card on the trolley, or other visible markings. No signage anywhere or any room for traffic on the street, which looks too narrow for San Francisco or another US city.

Plus those look like cable car wheels, so it wouldn’t be found in many places.

Why AI? Real artists make stuff up too…

I suppose.

On my tiny smartphone screen I thought it was a photo…
I see now that it’s a painting.

But I’d think a real artist, or even the purveyors of ersatz tourist paintings, would put in something to identify the locale…. And maybe not totally change the width of local streets.

Isn’t a feel for the location the point of a subject like this?

And it’s not true that the ‘PPP’ protocol actually stands for ‘Pen, Paper, Pigeon’ 😉

I’m sure I read that this was tried in (I think) Canada. A group decided to send data via homing pigeons and paper notes. It worked, but there was some ‘Packet Loss’ on the route.

A very funny bird is the pelican.
His beak holds more than his belly can.

Found it immediately.

One o’ me Pa’s favorites

A wonderful bird is the pelican
His beak can hold more than his bellycan
He can put food in his beak
To last him a week
And I don’t see how in the hellican.

Actually of course I can (of Corsican?)!
He’s right out in the open.

But I just had to use that line … then my Internet went out so I couldn’t come back and refute it!

Cause and effect.
It’s a good thing the driver didn’t make ot to a main street, I’m thinking.

So many things wrong with that, and on multiple levels.
e.g. Why is there a CFL bulb in the top right corner at video’s conclusion?

The camera looks to be on the front of a building, and the CFL lamp is in the frame of the video, it’s there all the way through.

You can see the road give way under the rear wheel just as the guy climbs on to the cab.

This is one of my favorite Cleo strips ever, and one of the funniest.

My Wi-Fi Internet has been out, and I’ve been trying to do too much other stuff on my cell phone all day to get back here.

I finally do, courtesy of 5g, not my supposed DSL… And nobody has said anything about seeing so many of our heroic characters in one strip!

But where is SuperBasset when we need him?

Or at least, that poor guy hanging from the tree needs him!

Don’t worry, SuperBasset is the reason why that poor guy isn’t hanging there anymore.
True heroes don’t brag…
