StelBel, thank you for everything you did to spring this birthday surprise on me. I meant to come back to the top yesterday to say so and then got distracted by all the other birthday wishes, and the cakes, and the food…
And that’s what I intend to do today. Will check my work email briefly just because I know that there will be a wonderful staff birthday card waiting for me. Took a good many years to find an organization where the culture is of caring concern. Celebrates both birthdays and work anniversaries.
But then it will be back to doing nothing but cooking, eating, drinking, reading, maybe some Sudoku. Eggs Benedict and braised lamb shanks with cannellini beans. The full on fat followed by something healthy but extremely delicious.
