4 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
4 c. riced or mashed cooked potatoes
1/2 c. mazola oil (sic)
1/2 tsp baking powder
Beat egg & add oil. Add to potatoes & beat until “mushy”. Com-
bine salt, baking powder & flour. Add enough flour mixture to
potatoes to make souft dough. Let sit (covered) 10 – 15 minutes in
warm spot. Roll out thinly (using flour.) (sic) Cut circles & spoon filling
on. Pinch closed. TO COOK: Drop into boiling salted water. When they float to surface, transfer to hot fry pan with butter and onion.
Saute (sic) quickly. Serve at once with sour cream.
Notes from me:
Despite the typographical errors, the dough recipe and cooking instructions are accurate.
I’d use only a medium heat in the frying pan, because butter burns at a fairly low heat.
If you haven’t run into it, Mazola oil is a brand of corn oil. Too, as you have probably gathered, this is a huge amount of dough; the recipe can easily be halved if you beat the eggs until smooth and then measure for 1/2 volume.
Thanks ML. My wife has plans for tonight but I will make pierogi tomorrow.
Just got back from a looong day. Not much to eat and no sleep. But I slept in this morning and now feel human.
No,no,no ~ not frost!! It’s going to be 75 today in Northern Idaho. Unusually warm weather ~ and I’m lov’n it!!!
My granddaughter loves Twenty One Pilots. Her parents took her to their concert in Portland for her birthday.
I wonder how many people know it is Touch Tag Day. We should all go out and play ~ let’s see how many can get arrested.
I’ve never had Fluffernutter ~ not sure I want to try it.
Have a great day, Plods. And you stay warm!

The “Snow White” scene in colour; set to start at the black and white gif (I have no idea what “dwarts” are).
Found all nine with little difficulty.
They’re the guys who looked after Snow What.
Snow What… isn’t she the cousin of Snow Big Deal?
eek!!!
..
,.,
To me, they look sort of like the banjo-playing kid in Deliverance.
Pickled Pete posted this at “The Comic Strip…..”
The music is well chosen, and if watching this doesn’t warm your fuzzies, you want to be grumpy.
If I was barefoot in the snow, I would “walk” like that also.
Thanks for the laugh!! And I agree.
♥Love it♥
I notice his front and rear are out of alignment. I had noticed that walking our huskies too. The front and rear legs don’t line up.
They don’t look too happy with whoever is taking the picture.
.
I think I’ve found the nine, but I’ll have to await confirmation.
I found nine. But one of them is so slight, I’m not sure.
There’s a tenth one, but it looks like a technical glitch in making the copy so I’m not counting it.
There IS a teeny glitch, that probably should have been cleaned up, that someone might see as a tenth difference.
I didn’t see it in time to alert Nighthawks.
However, there are nine clear differences… I can’t think of one that’s so “slight” as to be questionable.
For anybody questioning whether they counted the glitch as a difference…
If one of your nine is a break or shift in the little black lines at the bottom of the doorway, right between Cleo and Claude, that’s just a glitch…
You have another, more obvious, difference to go back and find.
And if you did count those lines as a difference, and you also found something even smaller to wonder about…. Maybe take two steps back.
Confound it! That was one of my nine!
So instead, I’m going with this: There is a change in Claude’s eyeglass prescription.
Here I am, Cleo pals and puzzlers!
I’m sorry… I had a slight technical problem in getting here tonight.
Er… it was a problem with my computer…. I couldn’t do anything with it.
I tracked it though…. and found the source of it.
It’s a common problem with computers, especially mine.
It gets disconnected, as techs like to say, somewhere in between the chair and the keyboard.
….
In this case, it’s kind of embarrassing that I didn’t notice sooner…. but it seems that the… uh… the computer operator was a bit… unreliable.
She’d been …. um… resting her eyes. For two hours.
I’d fire her, but we’re pretty close.
Two peas in a pod. Maybe one.
…
Anyway…. here’s your solution…
Thanks for posting the big solution, Susan. I got all 9! WOO HOO.!!!
So close, I missed it by a hair.
Same here and probably the same hair.
Same here. My ninth one was at the bottom of Cleo’s belly.
That’s actually part of the same glitch as the little lines … but it’s SO
tiny I didn’t think anybody would notice it!
Good thing you are really technically minded and could fix that computer problem.
Easy this time.
chicken pierogi
A different spelling, but the same end result.

Another one for apple month.
Claude said can of Whupazz for the EWC!
Good morning Puzzlers! It’s what the diff Saturday.
My D-I-L had never heard of a Fluffernutter until my son introduced her to it.
First frost here this morning. Y’all stay warm. (((((HuGz!)))))
Here is the WIKIPEDIA article about the fluffernutter.
Your trivia for the day:
Belchertown is not quite 70 miles away from either Somerville or Melrose; both Massachusetts towns are associated with the fluffernutter.

Dang, only 8, and with my new glasses too.
I had such high hopes.
