But what do I know? Maybe that’s all it takes to be a recognised contest.
…
BTW post-production work like enhancement, cot and paste and cloning, is not banned or even limited., as long as it’s done by the originaal photographer..
So all or any part of this image could have been manipulated.
Were it not for the french bread texture of the forward tan section, and the lack of a belly button, I could have been convinced that this is a partial nude.
Thanks, Susan. 🙂
I think the phone number in the “ad,” it shows clearly in the ‘toon, was well thought (note the length; and I, for one, still miss the exchange prefixes to phone numbers).
Does Goofy’s “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts!” sound familiar?
I had not heard the Betty Carter – Ray Charles version of this much copied song. It has been criticized at times (depending on the version) for being a sexual harassment song with the guy pressuring the woman to stay. But the roles have also been flipped
But you may use the “Attach an image to this comment” feature (bottom right corner).
The message body mustn’t be empty and the size of the image has to be within (very generous) parameters, but it works.
Like the squirrel a few days ago.
Speaking of which:
It’s from my machine; the original was too large.
Under Ubuntu, I opened a terminal, went to the directory containing the image I wanted to post (but was too large dimension-wise) and entered
“convert -resize 1936×1246 DSC_4316.JPG SquirrelTrash.jpg”
for this example; that cleanly quartered this image in size.
.
OK, I give up. What is this?
From what I can gather it’s a photograph…
Badain Jaran Desert, China
By Yang Guang, who took second place in the 2019 International Landscape Photographer Of The Year Contest.
….
There were some great photos… but looking at the organizers’ web site…
To me, it seems to be more of a set-up to gather entry fees and then sell books of the winning photos than any sort of recognised contest.

“It was a dark and stormy night…”
Disney?
Good guess…
yes, apparently… “Lonesome Ghosts”, 1937.
Thanks, Susan. 🙂

Thank you for finding that. 🙂
Nine again! I must be rolling in something good!
I only got 6 before I turned into a pumpkin. See y’all in the morning…..
xoxoo
No way. Not tonight i don’t. 😀
I’ll give it a try when i’m not seeing double.
I was enjoying this puzzle as a cartoon before I realized that it is a puzzle. I will go back to look for #9 later.
Good luck with that! 😉

I found all nine. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get the picture of my finds into the spoiler section.
Glad to share the easy way to use the spoiler tag, Mr. Sherman…
so you can talk about a certain difference, report an extra one…
or … cough… point out where I made a mistake…
without ruining it for anyone who hasn’t finished solving.
…
BUT… as for posting your solution…
Unlike other puzzles posted here… Nighthawks creates this one, and knows where the differences are.
I solve it ahead of time, and usually compare with StelBel… if there’s any question we resolve it with Nighthawks.
If people post guesses at the full solution before I post that “official” one, others seem to get confused by it.
…
If you do have other spoilers to post… whether words or images…
Look at the black formatting toolbar at the bottom of the box where you’re typing… the one that starts with B I U etc…at the end there’s [+}
Type the text, or the image link, that you want to hide... and highlight it with your mouse.
While it’s highlighted, click the [+]
Another little box will pop up, with space to enter a “Spoiler Title” ..
Type the words in it that you want people to click on
and click OK.
Then click Post Comment.
That’s it… you did it.
Your highlighted text or image will be hidden until the reader clicks on the tag.
BTW… Just in case you, or anybody else reading this, doesn’t know…
you do have to have use an image that’s online.
You can post a link to a picture on the web…
but you can’t just paste something from your computer.
…
You have to upload it to an image hosting site like Tumblr.com, Postimage.org or Imgur.com….
And then you can post a link to it.
Links to your email or Facebook don’t work.
But you may use the “Attach an image to this comment” feature (bottom right corner).

My image was in my computer. That’s the problem. Thanks.
Try the upload feature then!
Good evening Cleo Pals and Puzzle Crew….
I’m here with your solution…
Well, as I’ve said before… I mean your puzzle solution.
I can’t do much about life’s other problems, except in rare cases.
But solving a nice Find The Differences Puzzle might help you feel better anyway, if you’re feeling a bit battered by one of life’s bitter moments.
Meanwhile… Give it your best shot (a figure of speech I held over from Thursday’s movie role) …
Then check your solution…
Eight again.
OK; I got them I think.
Now off to the solution…

I was a big Hardy Boys fan when I was a kid.
