Well, they had almost 2,000 years to make up in.

Ben Hur took place in AD 29.

I heard people bragging about how many “rolls” their bassets had on their ankles.

I didn’t get 1, 8, 21, 24. Sad to say that I knew the rest.

I missed almost the same ones.

I knew all but 1, 21, and 24.

And I’m also embarrassed that I know so many.

BTW I think the only reason we missed 24 is that such a big part of it is blocked out…

Or for you, maybe it’s not available in the UK?

BK is nearly as widely spread in the UK as McD is, and I prefer it over the other one. I’m certain you’re right in that removing the name makes it difficult as it is such a large portion of the logo.

Today’s Songs:
‘Losing My Religion,’ ‘Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes),’ ‘Love Letters in the Sand,’ and ‘Love Potion #9,’and the ‘Cheap Thrills Cuisine’ recipe ‘Au Gratin Potatoes.’
As before, the band denies R(apid) E(ye) M(ovement)
A picture of the Eddystone Lighthouse, for which the band was named, is at the bottom.
Number 1 for 5 weeks running.
The original by ‘The Clovers (I like ‘The Searchers’ version too).
Table cream is 18% milk fat.

“Losing My Religion” got me into REM…

Years after everybody else.

sigh…

They say they got the name from randomly choosing a dictionary page and using the header.

We don’t have an 18% cream designation in the US.

Theoretically, we still have light cream, which legally must have 20% butterfat, and supposedly can go up to 30%, but afaik didn’t.

Most stores and dairy companies nowadays offer only heavy whipping cream at 38% minimum and half and half at 10%.

My mother in law liked light cream in her coffee, and grumbled about having to switch to half and half.
