Hi, together, have seen you already have the 1st of September. Before I go offline, I will try to post a song you might know. It is an old song and it was played in a German TV-movie. Please enjoy!
Hi, Saint, I am glad you enjoyed the video I posted (with help of Susan – thanks to her!). But the band is “Them”, not Rolling Stones as in first glance we might meant. “Them” is interpreting a song, Bob Dylan wrote and sung 1965.
Here is Bob Dylon:
I know that the frog loves his lady friend’s glossy skin, in fact, one could say her porcelain complexion, with her wide eyes, and inviting smile.
She’s always cheerful, eats anything he brings her with enthusiasm, and never hops away while he’s talking, even if he does go on and on.
I wish them great happiness.
….
However… I, personally, have never been enamoured of those frogs.
I apologize here and now to the threepeople, over the years, who have given me one as a gift.
I think most people have never been so lucky as to have received even one… And some of those people even may have wanted one, which I did not.
I seem to have an overly developed gag reflex. Drives the dentist crazy.
It sometimes works even when I merely look at something that would potentially cause me to choke, even if it’s not me who’s threatened. A huge sponge or pot scrubber stuck in a frog’s throat… gee, why would that trigger me?
…
The first time I opened a little box and saw a green speckled ceramic frog, with a wide open mouth into which a yellow plastic scrubber had been stuffed, I almost lost it.
I never could put it out on the counter. Every time I looked at it… Well, you know.
Same with frog #2, which was made especially for me by a developmentally disabled hair client, in a ceramics class.
They didn’t actually mold the figures they “made”, but applied glazes, fired them, and decorated them. Mine was streaky orange and red, with purple rhinestones glued on.
I was touched, and really wanted to treasure it. Luckily my client never came to my house.
Frog number 3 is pink, wears a little gold crown, and says “Princess”. I want to like that one, too… But I can’t.
It’s still in its clear acetate gift box somewhere in my house. I can’t give it to a thrift store because the giver goes to every one in the vicinity, and that’s where she found it, I mean her, Princess Frog.
.
I know cats spend a lot of time just loafing…
But this one has carried it to a ridiculous degree.
….
Was she raised that way, naturally, or did she waste a lot of her owner’s dough on plastic surgery?
Pretty crummy… it was a half baked idea in the first place, and it didn’t really pan out.
It’s a new breed, specially bread in France.
A spy!
Look to be an in-bread cat to me….
Ouch!
Boo! 😀
NOSE!
Catlinbread?
NOSE ring?
Gold nose ring!
.
I wonder if they are waterproof.
Since it’s signed, is this Art, in homage to Japanese matchboxes?
,
NOSE!
.
I like it!
There is a whole story there.
but no nose!
Hazel and Ben were having a quiet evening of watching TV in their trailer in the Venusian settlement…
When it felt like the hill moved.
“Go take a look, Ben,” Hazel suggested.
find the pencil
What are those red triangular things supposed to be? I found a pencil that did not involve those things.
Part if the book below.
It’s quite clever.
There are ribbons in some of the books, used as page markers.
I don’t see any ribbons…
The red pointy things I see are the carefully placed corner of the book below, as Happy³ also noted.
Ok, this took way too long… But I’m pretty sure I’ve found it.
Even after that, when I saved the picture and reopened it, it’s so unobtrusive that I almost couldn’t find it again to circle it.
Luckily, i remembered a hint I’d given myself…
If you want that hint before you give up and peek…
The pencil is small and green
If you still can’t find it, see what I found…
That’s what I found.
Whew!
that was sooooo,.. hard to find! thanks, susan!
.
next month is a good time to go. the tourists have all gone!

Oh, unfortunately it didn’t go as well as I thought it would… too bad. Next time I hope it will be better with your help. Ciao, I am off now!
Same link you posted… I just copied it and posted it again.
WordPress is crazy.
Anyway, you probably know that this was written and originally performed by Bob Dylan.
As an avid motorcyclist, it’s fun to see the old bikes and a Stones tune is always a great way to start the day.
Too bad he lost both the bike and the girl..!

When you first posted the video, it wasn’t embedded…. I refreshed several times and it remained a link.
So I reposted it… And of course, now yours is embedded too!
♪ Frog went a courtin’, uh huh. ♫
I will be traveling for the Labor Day weekend, likely not back before Tuesday.
Have fun, kids!
Thank you for letting us know.
Keep your eyes up! And head on a swivel! Stay safe!
