Brigitte Bardot with the basset hound in the movie “Two Weeks in September”.
I can find nothing about the dog at all, and I’m not alone.
In my search for its name, I came across others’ trails and they did not have any success either.

I can’t like it more than once?
Dang!
It deserves more than that.

A spoof of Keanu Reeves as Klatuu in the remake. I find it funny.
George Carlin’s “P” word from his “seven list” is used once at the end.

My parents gave me a Mickey Mouse banjo when I was in hospital (1953.) I just got out in time for my family to catch the Queen Mary to take us to NY and finally to emigrate to Canada.

I have seven so far, but I’m distracted by the “welcome” mat. Why is it in english?

It distracted me too.
Why English, and why inside?

Nothing to do with anything here; I came across it as a plot point in a book I was reading and looked it up.

Yes, this puzzle seems to me, too, to be a wee bit harder than some others…

Then again… You can do it!

….

There are other mysteries too.

Is this the Padre’s chamber? Or does Slurez have a room just like it?

How did we get to the future?

Perhaps not many minutes ahead, as this may be where Perro™ was headed when we last saw him.

….

As for the “Welcome” mat… Well… whose door is it?

Maybe Slurez wants a reminder to speak English, as he walks out the door?

If it’s the Padre’s, maybe he’s welcoming a Spirit who knows no walls or doors.

Most likely I’d say, it’s in English because all the dialogue in this arc has been written in English, for our benefit… Just like in the movies.

I don’t see anybody asking why all the conversations haven’t been in Spanish, when that’s what they all speak.

And if none of that works for you… you can call it artistic license.

….

But I do have the answer to one question…

“What is the solution to this puzzle?”

At least, I think I do.

Just click here!

From:
“Woman’s Day Collector’s Cook Book (revised and enlarged)
Published by: Simon and Schuster, New York
SBN: 671-21986-3

“ “Cherries Jubilee” ”

1 Can (17 ounces) dark sweet cherries
2 tablespoons sugar
Dash of salt
1 tablespoon cornstarch 1/3 cup rum or brandy
1 quart vanilla ice cream

Drain cherries, reserving syrup, and pit.
Add water to syrup to make 1 cup.
In saucepan mix sugar, salt and cornstarch; add syrup.
Cook over low heat until slightly thickened.
Add cherries and heat.
Add liquor, ignite and spoon over ice cream.
Serves 4.

Notes from me:
A U.S. quart is 0.946 litres by definition.
Use over proof (over 57.1% alcohol by volume) rum or brandy to be sure it lights.

What’s the diff Saturday!

Good morning Cleo phans!

Update:
Yesterday 1:30 PM CDT

I got a call from the transplant office to let me know that my insurance has authorized my transplant.

I am officially on the list of people waiting for a lung transplant.

And now we wait.

I probably won’t get the call for a while just because I’m healthier than a lot of others waiting.

Y’all have a great weekend! (((((HuGz!)))))

That is really good news ! !

In the meantime:
1.  Inhale (unless under water)
2.  Exhale
3.  Repeat as necessary.
