I like that the art is on the fronts… That way, you can enjoy it in your hand as you play.
A deck with the usual faces and a pretty back has only one picture, and obviously, you can only see it when the cards are face down.
This would be much more entertaining.

The local art museum where I volunteered some years ago was going to have some playing cards made, to sell as a fund raiser…
The director’s idea… a bridge set, I believe, two decks in a holder.
The backs, she said proudly, were going to showcase 50 works of art from their collection.

Some of us had to point out that you don’t print cards with different pictures on the backs, because after a few games, they’d be a dead giveaway to the values on the fronts.
The director hadn’t thought of that.

Luckily the printing was volunteered or it would have cost more than the sales brought in. Sigh…

I took a screen snip from its opening frames (in tumblr) and posted it as an attachment below.
It’s about 2/3 down the page; as four markers before it, in order, look for your: “The Most Interesting Basset,” animation, the “Terminator” strip, the flies-in-soup-animation, and the “Basset Trek” animation. The “Perro” animation is next in the order.
If you haven’t seen Happy³’s “Apropos of nothing…” posting at the bottom of yesterday’s page, it’s really interesting.
I fully agree with Perkycat’s “Pretty clever!!”.
In order to have corned beef hash you must have corned beef.
None of my cook books had a method so I went to the internet.
The picture link below leads to the method for corning beef.
I would not “jump” straight to the recipe, as there are explanations in the lead-in.
Too, the recipe doesn’t mention the 5-day brining period, only the cooking time.

Notes from me:
To aid in the brining process, use a longer blade paring knife to stab the beef all over, twisting the blade before removal (this can be quite therapeutic if you want it to be / I learned to do this when making my mother’s Spice Meat recipe which requires marinating) .
