Yes. Here in Munich. They were called “Die kleinen Strolche” here in Germany – and much later, there lived a dog down our street who was a spitting image of Petey.
My niece has several French bulldogs, two of whom are brother and sister (but not from the same litter.) They, too, have a pool. (My niece & NIL, not the dogs.) Those dogs do not float at all. They have zero buoyancy, probably negative. Someone always has to be outside with them when the pool is open, in case one falls in. They are as goofy as shown.

I didn’t actually read any, but I’d bet an amount of money I could afford to lose that they boil down to — “You do too need it.” “No I don’t”— (with a measurable number of the “the-government’s-not-going-to-make-me-fasten-my-seat-belt” type people thrown in).
Reverse with, proper grammar applied, if you feel like it.
I don’t think I’d lose my money, but the Titanic was considered to be unsinkable.
We’ve come a long way, baby!! Especially because of coal ~ you know, the controversy.
That desk does look kinda floppy. Things in the computer world have advanced rather quickly. Makes you wonder what is next.
That poor dog in the sheep! Hope he survived.
.
My dog, Panda is almost a mirror image of Petey.
Meant to post last night…. Petey, Spanky, Darla, Alfalfa and Buckwheat.
Probably the best known quintet of Our Gang members…
…
Except I read that Stymie was considered the leader for a while, according to Hal Roach, the producer…
And a few others went on to fame later, notably Mickey… later called Bobby Blake, then Robert Blake.
….
Spanky was in the films from about ages 3 or 4 to 14… Alfalfa almost as long.
Of course, who could forget the later Froggy, or Wheezer…
or earlier, Farina, or Jean Darling….
Can you tell I watched “The Little Rascals” every weekend?
I did too!

Christine McVie, you know I love her, right?
Except…. Eek! ….
It’s not her!
This is a current tribute band, called “Rumours of Fleetwood Mac.”
The woman “playing” Christine McVie is named Emily Gervers.

RE: the cartoon.
Ha! Those models burned oil.
I’ve heard of a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but this is ridiculous.
A wolf actually clothed in sheep.
Enclosed.
Mercurochrome monitor? So it had antiseptic properties too? And a floppy “desk” drive? I thought that was going to be Cleo’s target.
…
My first cup just finished brewing!
That’s your answer to everything.
That’s your other answer to everything.
I’m in a constant state of whoosh
Cofeve?
Looks like an early Mac… 1980’s?
I’m surprised Claude and Clara were such early computer users, considering how little they still know.
Then again… they’re probably still using their 1997 Mac… you know… their new computer.
…
If that’s a mercurochrome monitor, the little slot probably dispenses Band-Aids.
Good morning Balladeers, (((((Plods))))) and Miss Susan.
State of the art main-frame 1967.
