I’m getting there… it’s kinda taking longer than I’d hoped.
Normally I wouldn’t even mention it…
but combined with computer and internet problems, it makes for too many absences.
Hopefully all will be resolved.

Nighthawks, I think you forgot to put the differences in this puzzle. I got one definite ~ probably the one others got. There are two possibly ~ maybe’s. Just went back and looked again – that’s it. I guess you didn’t like us commenting that last weeks was easy.

ah no, Perkykitty,…it wasn’t a matter of ‘didn’t like’ the comments that the last puzzle was too easy. I just wanted to make one, just one, a tough one to solve.
I’m just thrilled you guys go to the trouble of coming here every day…..
I know that once you’re into Gocomics, you have hundreds of comics to see….
and here there’s just one.—
Well, this one definitely was a tough one. I really enjoy the Cleo and Company comics. There’s just one, but you add a lot to it. I would read it without all the other stuff. I, too, have cut back on reading some of the GoComics. They seem to get rid of the ones I really like or the creator decides to leave GoComics for whatever reason.

I only stayed up long enough to check on tonite’s puzzle. Only to find there is only ONNNNE difference! HELLLLLLLLLLLPP!
This one IS a tough one, I’m still stuck at 8. Gotta get more coffee and try a bit later… Hoping not to have to use PERFECTIONISTA’S solution… And after finding the second difference, I’ve had to use the micrometer to find the others…
ADDENDUM: Got the last one. But now my eyes are a-jumping as much as PERFECTIONISTA’S GIF — I guess I’ve had way-to-much coffee!!!!
The PERFECTIONISTA replies: “sorry for the jumping solution! Sometimes, it’s hard to get the pixels to match perfectly when one panel has to be “cut” away from the side-by-side. I know it was close (but no cigar!), so I just went with that, as long as it (kinda lol) clearly showed the answers. I was just a bit rusty….”
She now has to change her title to ‘Semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker SEMI-PERFECTIONISTA’ (SAASMSP)!!!
By the way… If anybody has spoilers to post about the puzzle…
PLEASE…. it’s EASY to hide them.
You don’t need charts, diagrams, or pictures…
You just need to know how to highlight text…. If you can’t do that, ask.

ALL you have to do is, wherever you want it to appear in your comment…
Just type the text and/or paste the link you’ll want to hide…
THEN… Highlight it. (Ie Make it turn blue with your mouse.)
THEN click the [+] below (on the right in the toolbar).

Type in that little box what you want people to click on…

That automatically puts your highlighted text in the right place.

You should have a gray tag with a plus sign that says something, and when it’s clicked, you should see the secret stuff.
If by any chance anything goes wrong, like you forgot to highlight… you can refresh the page and use the “Click to edit” button to delete your comment and try again.

This morning i saw two (2 !!!) whales (calves!) in the bay and got closer to a Great Blue hereon than i have ever been.Got to watch him/her preen.

I see that you’ve noticed (I knew you would! ) that tonight’s puzzle is… um… slightly impossible…
So Nighthawks pulled the Semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA right out of her well-deserved retirement…
where she was contentedly sitting in the porch swing, eating bon-bons, catching up on romance novels…
And cruelly put her back to work!
So tonight, we have an animation solution, or maybe a solution animation… just like long ago.

It turned out to be a lucky thing for me….
because I always use Paint on my computer to do the circled solution.
I don’t have a program on my phone or tablet that would have made a decent looking one…
That is… had I been able to solve it anyway.
I believe I got four on my tablet, but had no time to look on my computer, which has slightly better resolution.
(The new one, when I get it set up, should be better. Yay!)

I thought BBC only meant the normal jumping of the gif,
i.e., the animated parts moving…
the way gifs are supposed to “jump around.”
Not any slight background quivering, which I thought was barely noticeable in this one.
Certainly not noticeable enough to cause anybody a lowering of rank, or demotion of job title, and consequent loss of salary.
I do not intend to process such a demotion
