Wow… I wondered whether it was what I thought: a mother crocodile with babies…
So I goggled “crocodile babies” to see how many they had.
The answer is, “more than you’d think”.
Actually, about 30 to 60.
But I was only half right.
…
I wasn’t looking for them, but there were lots of results on that page having to do with this picture, as well… or at least pictures from the same photo shoot. Apparently it’s famous.
Taken in 2020 by a wildlife photographer and conservationist named Dhritiman Mukherjee…. this is actually a male, of an endangered Indian crocodile species, called a gharial.
…
Male crocodiles help raise their young. Who woulda thunk?
These are thought to be all his offspring, with several females… around 100 or so month-old babies, and he’s carrying them across a river.
Through all my research, and I looked around while watching the games, the best I can come up with is this.
I saw it attributed as a gif of a cartoon of virtually all the major early cartoon greats at various other sites, but this one, if not particularly sensible, at least has a coherent narrative (I’m feeling literary this morning 🙂 ).
Apparently it’s a cheese commercial.
Right click on the U.R.L. and open it in a new window so you don’t lose this page, clear the over lay advertisement if appears and then click anywhere in the animation to start it if that step is necessary (very weird programming with this). Nothing set off my Norton / Symantec programming, so it is safe (just annoying).
The Utah State Aggies are looking around for the tart shells; they’re being made mincemeat.
Halftime: Utah State 0 Alabama Crimson Tide 41
I’m going over to the Utah Utes and Florida Gators game.
Florida just put in a two point conversion for 22 to 19 for the Utes.. U.S. college ball has a better air game than the NFL. 12 minutes left in the fourth.
Edited in at 22:36 E.D.T.
Florida intercepted at the 17 second mark, and won the game 29 26. Utah has dissapointment, but it was closer to luck than skill that they lost.
22:47 Alabama’s Ball 55 0 3:25 left in the game.
College ball has to have different rules for pass interference. Contact with the receiver in the CFL before the ball gets there is always pass interference.

Dog help me, I remember this pun. Some puns improve with age, like a fine wine. Some puns are like this one.
It is not photo shopped, but it’s not “real” either.
1) Note that the fish’s tail is cut off so it can’t swim.
2) While the photograph I’ve posted below is not of photographer Jaap La Brijn who is credited with the photograph happy³ posted above, other sites say the set-up is similar to what he would have used.
3) Some of the other sites say that some of the aquariums are so shallow that the birds hit bottom and break their necks.
I can see my third point happening.
Mutilating animals and both costing and risking their lives isn’t art.
.
Looks like a rough neighborhood.
NO, Just NO!

Yikes!
That’s a whole lotta nope right there!
i kinda like this. not too often you see poppa shuttling his babies across a river. i wouldn’t want to stick around too long. cool picture, though.
Yeah… even the photographer said they have very strong jaws and they bite if disturbed.
He took the pictures from a safe distance, with a telephoto lens.
BTW, the gharial has a very long, skinny jaw, with a bulbous tip. (You can see it on the babies.)
Most other species of crocs carry babies in their mouths, but Gharial jaws aren’t wide enough, so they do more carrying on their backs.

Interesting tune in the link, Alexi…
I dunno how you guys did it, but I can’t open the link directly.
I only get a message saying I must install the “Coub app” to continue… something I have no desire to do.

Background for “Batman” the animated series.
I’m surprised at myself.
The first thing i did when seeing it was to look for a hero, or a trench-coat.

Love this one!
Hey… I posted this a couple of weeks ago.
Oh well, I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of cattery.

You mean they start out already great, right?
Right?
Boo! 😀
C’mon, Nighthawks, get in there. There is some lambasting to be done!
in this case I would be the lambastee
Holy cow, Nighthawks.
Do you really want to steer your strip towards such a low pun.
I mean… rustling cattle?
Besides… I have to wonder whether Cleo’s story is bull….
why would the Russells leave anything for the Leaves to rustle?
…
Anyhow, Rat usually attacks Stephan with a bat…
But hay, Cleo doesn’t horse around…
She’d axe you no questions, if you let her go unbridled…
I don’t blame you for stalling.
…
You know, I was gonna make some puns for you, but I’m not in the moo’ed…
I think you’ve herd it all anyway… so I’m just gonna bale.
…
Oof. I say again, OOF!
