The actors, in real life, were old enough to be Dennis’ grandparents but too young in most cases to be retired.

She was in her late 50s, he was in his late 40s through early 50s, and passed away during the run of the show at 52.

He was briefly replaced by Gale Gordon before the show was cancelled.

Though he looks pretty happy in this publicity shot, the young

star of
Dennis the Menace

child actor …
Jay North

said …
He was mistreated, overworked, and not allowed time with other children.
He later helped form an organization for troubled former child actors.

Actually it is real. I’ve been there: Casa Batlló by Antoni Gaudí

Wow… I thought it was a Gaudi building but the regularity of the windows made me think it wasn’t really his work.

Especially because I’d seen an article, and photos, months ago, when searching for another photo here, about an AI program that emulates his designs.

I’m very glad it’s real!
I love Gaudi buildings… Walking into one would be a thrill.

And quite crowded! A timed entry was required.

When I could clearly read “Barcelona” on the window I knew it was Gaudi.

There are quite a few poop mimics. Caterpillars are most common…

If that one nose the other day reminded people of Montana Lady….

This puzzle is practically a tribute!
Wish she could see it.

Meanwhile… not to be nosy…
Can you find nine differences in our poochy pals?

I’m not at home… I’ll be there before too long.

But just in case anybody actually tries it before that… I’m posting the solution now.

No sticking your nose in there before you give it your best!

After that, you can take a look

right HERE….

I am 99% sure we have seen this FTND image before. I don’t save them, so there’s the other 1%. And I certainly don’t remember the solution, so it’s as good as new from that standpoint.

Yes… No need to think about it.

Unless there’s an exception I don’t remember, all the New Yorker cover puzzles were created by StelBel, so, yes, we’ve done them all before…

But as Stel has done no new work for almost exactly 11 months, and these particular puzzles stretch back to I believe February of 2023, the likelihood of the solutions being completely familiar is very low.

They took hours to create… It would seem a waste for them to be solved by a dozen people and never seen again.

Like a fine jigsaw puzzle, they’re stored until they’re sufficiently forgotten to enjoy solving again, and their artistry can be appreciated another time.

A lot of the Cleo puzzles are reruns as well, generally at least a year old, and hopefully older.

I solve each one anew, when Nighthawks decides to run it. What I post is my current attempt.

Every few puzzles, I might find myself remembering one difference before I find it again… though I sometimes do recognise a couple more as I circle them.

But I spend longer with them than most of you because of the time it takes to make and post the solutions.

My thought is that if I’ve forgotten where the differences are, probably everybody else will have, as well.

Enjoy!

I’m still short of my goal in my campaign. Next week is the inspections and i have enough for the house inspection, but i’m still short for the septic inspection. It’s going to be pumped before i move in, but the inspection is still a good idea. You can find my campaign at GoFundMe by looking for the campaign name;
