Rich ladies just love showing off how much fur it took to make their dogs. A bit gauche, I think.

Do we now compare our dogs by the size of their flews? Nighthawks had better start working on Batbasset’s incredible slobbery wings.

Of course, with appropriate Buddabuddabuddabudda vibrations and noises as they fly through the air. Accompanying slime/drool shall be added as appropriate.

“Yo! Little help here?”

Gotta love the snazzy two-tone paint job and the equally snazzy zoot suit.

Can’t make out the emblem on the car.

Or why another guy is sitting in a ditch(?).

I’m reasonably sure that it worked that way for the wooly rhinoceros, clearing a reasonable area for grazing.

I did my first year of college at the University of South Dakota.

Didn’t see much of the highways, though, cos USD is in Vermillion, a (then) small town tucked into a little point in the southeast corner of the state.

Except for for one weekend, IIRC, I only traveled eastward, back to Wisconsin to visit my family, not west into the interior.

I lived there a few years with my grandparents and it didn’t look at all like that.

Of course, I was at the other side of the state.

But they actually did fall in love on a movie set.

And Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy were pretty openly an illicit couple for years…. though I don’t know how they met .

For the “1910s thru 1960s”, its pretty light on those 10s and 20s… as in there are none… and I only see one photo that’s probably from the 60s, though they made at least one movie together in the late 50s.

So nice… a built-in cooking appliance.

It can make stews and pasta sauce, and fry eggs… plus it’s a combination rice and noodle cooker, coffee maker, and on demand sandwich maker.

I’ve known a few men who thought they had one, especially back in the 50s and 60s.

Well, of course, isn’t that all they’re here for? Maybe plus a few other occasional benefits, but those are just add-ons. The best ones don’t think or (God forbid) express opinions! Are you applying for the job? Yes, that’s sarcasm, big time! 😉

Thanks, Nighthawks… but as I said…. No biggie, as long as Postimage keeps tolerating me.

I can’t really claim to provide the images… you do .. I merely upload them and get links.

In the unlikely event anyone wondered, that’s why I recused myself the other day, and will again… I’d seen the pics.

Not that you tell me the names, but seeing them together is enough.

Woo-Hoo! Another great story to follow!

A few years ago I bought bumper stickers for my cars. I put one on the old Chevy, and it didn’t take long for our Agate Desert sun to ruin it. So I put the other under the glass on my desk:

The Dynamic Duo may be springing into action any moment!

This is exciting… I think I’ll make a cup of hot chocolate and settle in.

BTW I love the little bits of animation… the phone, and Sparrow’s eager tail.
