“What if …a BATMAN movie were released on the early 40`s?
Mixing some modern advertising TECHNIQUES and a CLASIC art deco visual style I created this promotional poster for a fictional movie”
Yeah, my brother was bitten by one, pectoralis major muscle (upper chest). Severe problems for months – eventually had to have surgery to remove masses of dead tissue.
I have very high respect for the indigenous peoples of our continent. You’re correct – that comment is sad. Considering the era of that poster, I can only hope that the people who created it came to see it as sad as well.
You are likely referring to Miyo-wîcihtowin (spelled Moo-chi-wi-in-es in some English phonetics or older regional variations), a core teaching in Plains Cree. It translates to “the importance of good communication, kindness, and respect to achieve unity”.

As a guy who has literally dropped wires through the ceiling (at work) and down the inside walls like this, I can honestly say this offends me. I mean, yeah, in our run-down corporate office no one cared. But this is unforgivable.
Nighthawks.. . Usually you re-post the GIF on the comments in case it doesn’t work, but it works, so I don’t need it… though i like having it there, as a place to comment.
Unless you have a lot of extensions, custom home pages, etc. set up in Edge, you could try a reset to factory defaults. I’ve had to do that recently so maybe that’s why mine is working and yours isn’t.

Looks like a pack of lazy…that could burst into excitement at the sight of a squirrel.
SQUIRREL!!!!!!
Another “happiness of hounds” photo.

It looked too new… and yeah… I searched it.
It’s by a digital artist who goes by Rodolforever
In May, 2009, he posted on Deviant Art.com.:
“ART DECO BATMAN”

I do like the lines. But it’s the font that really stands out.
Brown Recluse
From what I’ve heard, you NEVER want to get bitten by one of those! Bad juju!
Even I’m not gonna say they look cute!

I was thinking it could be a tattoo right down to the shadows …I’ve seen a few but not many with this much detail on the spider itself.
According to Google, it’s a real photo…
And according to both my search and the file name, it’s part of a collection called “Why Would You Touch That?”
Good question.
,.
Mmmmm, the good stuff.

I notice a distinct Art Deco slant lately in many of the posts and I love it.
This one has a bit of a modern repro look, too… but actually, it’s just ahead of its time…

Moo-chi-wi-in-es? Go Chief Dan George!
“My heart is white.” … That’s sad.

I did a Google AI search:

Isn’t there a painting of her somewhere?
Mrs. del Giocondo, I presume?
..,
A cuckoo egg in a blue tit nest will give the same result…..

Took a minute to realize it’s a puzzle.
D’oh.
In fact I think I’ve even done it before… maybe here, maybe elsewhere… but I didn’t recognize it.
Find the objects on the right.
It has been here before a while ago. I remember people struggling to find the cake and the baloon.
They’re in funny placements, I think.
Humorous, I mean, not just odd.
Okay then…..
I found them….
When you’re ready,
I outlined them in yellow but they were hard to see, so I put in the white squares…. Hope you can see them now!

Sacrilege!
I get a strange feeling this room has been bugged…
Well, I’m bugged by what they did.
Does that count?
wait we can save some money. I know this guy……..

Here’s hoping that this one IS AI…!
Trumocchio did it!

Tonight you didn’t do that, and it isn’t working.
Oh… It’s a .webp, not a .gif.
It’s not working as an animation on Android.
Are the rest of you seeing it?
Not working in Edge in Windose.
Works in Edge in Windows here.

Nope.
But the .gif has been “on” a day more than one year today.
?
I haven’t seen this one before, but I knew exactly what was going to happen when the spaceship landed where it did…
this is fine. thanks!
It says something that the aliens can’t tell one end from the other….. 😉
for some reason, I simply forgot that WordPress has not been allowing animations to run up top…I re-posted it using IBB
Last night it wasn’t playing. It is this morning.
Because it was a different file then.
Working perfectly for me on MAC Safari.
Guess the surly waitress in this still from the series ‘Columbo’.
Well, how else am I going to remember who’s who, or where the landscape/building/street is? 😉
That’s why I used a hidden spoiler, too.

Is that a “defensive” or “offensive” weapon Cleo has used? Seems pretty offensive to me…
