This is the somewhat older, but not oldest, version of 1960’s French heart-throb Alain Delon… I didn’t find a date for this photo, but he lived from 1935-2024.
In his 1950s-60s films, he was deservedly considered one of the most handsome men in the world.
I’m pretty sure that I’ve written here before about my brother’s adventure… I guess I should say non– adventure… with sea monkeys.
He ordered some in the early days of their existence… I didn’t think they were even called sea monkeys yet. We were excited. We weren’t allowed a dog or a cat… but you could train these little creatures to obey commands!
They didn’t come with that plastic container it looks like you get now… You were supposed to use a fishbowl. We didn’t have a fishbowl… I think we used a mayonnaise jar.
We all made sure to follow all the other instructions, though.
Eggs, food, whatever went in the water… we waited, and we checked on them… and we waited… and we checked on them…..
And eventually, my mother threw out the jar of dirty water, though we complained. But I don’t think after a couple of months, they were still going to hatch.
Wow… I didn’t recognize this guy. He doesn’t quite look like Pete, the Disney villain, who often has a peg-leg..
But I tracked him down! Okay, not him, exactly, cos I didn’t hear him named…
But he’s the villain, or at least, the leader of the outlaw gang, in a 1932 Bosko cartoon called “Ride Him, Bosko!”
Not only was I unfamiliar with Bosko.. the ending is…. well…. you just might have to see for yourself. I couldn’t believe it.

Know the guy on the left.
I was going to download it to search… but that’s when I get to see the file name.
Most of them say just “Screen shot” or “image”and maybe a string of meaningless letters and numbers…
But this one tells
,.
I don’t know who this Plastic Man character is…. But once again, he looks like a head on the end of a hose.
No logo, publisher, magazine title….
DC has a Plastic Man…. but I didn’t know whether they’re the same guy
Yes; that’s him.
Yeah, the hair and glasses match.
And the same overweight sidekick who never changes his colorful clothes. 😉
