I meant to say earlier, that when I first checked tonight, this site was down.
No error message, in fact nothing at all… Just a blank white page, for today, or on my saved tabs of the last couple of days.
I wondered how many of you saw that and didn’t come back, though the outage “only” lasted I think a couple of hours. I wasn’t checking every minute, but it was down for me at 6 and at about 7:30 pm, PDT, and up when I came back at 8:30.
WordPress has seemed very irresponsible lately. Yeah, I know… but at least it’s usually been up, in the past.
Oh… while I’m here… Just in case anybody’s interested…
I posted an image explaining how to look at the owl puzzle solution Nighthawks posted yesterday, so you can see that it’s the same image… But still, to my eyes, impossible to discern the solution in the original.
I saw that it was not, strictly speaking, down from around 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm EST last night. The page loaded, but trying to post a comment, or even just “like” another comment, seemed to get stuck in limbo. Not sure when (after 10:30) it got straightened out.

CNRail™ Maintenance Of Way consist in operation, transporting rail ties to the next repair location, with the tie-swapper on the end car. Truck on the front converts from road (rubber) to rail, with the truck tires providing the traction and braking effort to the rail.

Interesting… It was absolutely down here.
I checked it on a couple of those sites that ping other websites and tell you if they’re down, like downdetector.com.
I usually just Google “is it down” for a list of sites and check two or three because they don’t always give the same results.
Your 10:30 is my 7:30, and it was still down for me, too, but okay when I came back an hour later.
“Liking” comments gets stalled on my tablet all the time… I often have to “re-like” comments I tried to thumb up the night before.

Ive seen pickup trucks with the rail wheels set up in front of and behind the truck.
