Yeah, my brother was bitten by one, pectoralis major muscle (upper chest). Severe problems for months – eventually had to have surgery to remove masses of dead tissue.
I have very high respect for the indigenous peoples of our continent. You’re correct – that comment is sad. Considering the era of that poster, I can only hope that the people who created it came to see it as sad as well.

Just the hyphenated phrase got me a rather unrelated Asian food.
When I tried adding Native Americam, another unrelated term.
With First Nations, closer, but not as close as you got… And it was a link to the Salish. Not the Plains Cree. I gave up cos I didn’t know enough to figure it out.

I’m sad to see that he, or more probably the copywriters, of that time, thought that meant his heart was white, or that “brown” people couldn’t support it without proclaiming themselves to be white, as though it were only a white cause, or that “brown” opinions didn’t matter.
There was such a lack of racial pride, but I think it’s better today.

But this was back in the day when only the “privileged” mattered. When even women’s suffrage was still evolving, Canada passed the right for women to vote in 1918, 1920 in USA. Different times. Different views. Some lives “were cheap”. It was the norm, then. Life changes you…Just watch an episode of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh In… Even the Old Testament would come under close scrutiny if you wanted to.
Thankfully, we all have evolved, somewhat, but there are still miles to go before thy rest…

As a guy who has literally dropped wires through the ceiling (at work) and down the inside walls like this, I can honestly say this offends me. I mean, yeah, in our run-down corporate office no one cared. But this is unforgivable.

Unless you have a lot of extensions, custom home pages, etc. set up in Edge, you could try a reset to factory defaults. I’ve had to do that recently so maybe that’s why mine is working and yours isn’t.

Nobody needs to reset… the gif works om WordPress. The .webp didn’t.
